Overall

Please Please Please avoid this so called repair center...We spent $2800.00 for an engine rebuild that took two (2) weeks. I asked for a complete rebuild, not using my engine.....When my wife and I went to pick up our truck it was parked up the street in a lot on the corner of Washington St. This was away from the building about 75 yards and the lot did not belong to them. The doors were unlocked. There was no fencing, just out in the open for anyone to get into the truck. We'll start with what was missing in the truck when we picked it up. The front floor mats were missing. When we checked the back seat (quad cab) anti-freeze had been spilt on the seat and still no mats. I decided to check the bed (which was tarped and no mats again. Not only were the mats not there, my jack was missing too. When I went back to confront them they took no responsibility since the truck was not on their lot. (go figure). Then driving the truck home it still had a hesitation when I stepped on the gas. It actally died once on the way home. When I called Chris the owner he said to put a few hundred miles on to see if this WOULD help. I asked if the oil pressure would get better and he said it would between 20 & 25 psi. The next morning I had to crank the engine over three (3) times to get the engine to turn over. It was still stalling when I drove it and now there was the smell of raw gas when sat idling. When I would sit at a light for a minute, I had to put it in neutral and rev the motor to clear it out. Now my cruise control, horn do not work and the oil pressure drops below 20. Ac had not been recharged. I did not get a detailed list of the parts used. Keep in mind that we live 2 hours away so taking it in again and leaving it was not an option. They, of course could not fix it while I waited. Chris avoided my call for weeks so I gave up. I can' afford an attorney or I would have sued.

Who threatens the customer...?

If theres a rating for negative stars they would get about -4 stars. Do anything except take your car to these clowns. This place is completely unproffessional in all sense of the word. I took my vehicle here for a simple coolant leak. They say they can fix it for 600$ i leave the car there. 7hours past they say im all fixed, i go pick up the car, before i got off the street the place is on i see LOW COOLANT LEVEL across my dashboard. I takeit back they pour more coolant in and say it should be ok now. I drive to work then home, the next day i start the car and there it is Low coolant level again. I take it back telling them its still leaking coolant, the mechanic Chris (a**hole#1) tightens a couple hoses and says those were still loose a little bit, it should be fine now. 2 days later the head gasket blows. i take it to another shop this mechanic informs me that the quick connect is the problem. Turns out they never put the quick connect back on the car after supposedly fixinga coolant leak that was somewhere else. The actually leak was at the quick connect the whole time. I go back to chris and ask him simply why didnt you do a pressure test to know for sure where the leak was coming from before you had me buy water crossover gaskets that my vehicle didnt need. He claims that my car did need the gaskets thats why he put those on first. Then i ask why didnt you put the quick connect on he says my car didnt need a new one, but i watched the other mechanic take off the old warped quick connect that clearly was leaking coolant due to the massive amount of coolant that was on & around it. He replied that he was going to jump on me and punch me in the mouth for questioning there work on My car. At that point i challenged him to do so but instead him and the owner (a**hole#2) stood up and acted as if they were indeed going to jump me rite in there office. At that point i drew my knife and told them back off its not my fault they couldnt fix my car they didnt have to try if they arent used to working on expensive vehicles ( Cadillac) Then the owner pulls a gun out of his deck saying he would shoot me if i didnt leave (very proffessional huh) this is after ive payed 600$ to get my car fixed and its even worse than it was before. They didnt want to accept the resposibility that it was there lack of mechanic skills that caised my head gaskets to blow. If they would have fixed the 11$ quick connect instead of charging me for water crossover gaskets my engine would not have blown a head. Ive owned a cadillac or a benz for the past 15 yrs so i know how to take care of these engines as soon as i was aware of a coolant leak i took it to them for a pressure test that they never did instead the mechanic chris just charged me for something my cardidnt need then threatened me when i told him he was wrong. Partially my fault tho because i usually dont take my car to filthy establishments like this one. If you want your car fixed an fixed right stay as far away from these losers as you can there only out to charge you the most moey they can but only doing half the work youve payed them for. And of all things dont tell them tey didnt fx it rightyou may have a gun waived in your face for that.
