Love these guys! Have been dealing with Dave and this business for years! Wish they were open on Saturday for a bit, my daughter coming home from college and needs inspection and oil change this Saturday and I'm in a panic because I'm going to have to take her car somewhere else.

I took our newer Corvette into Firehouse to get an oil change. The car came with synthetic oil and the local dealer where we purchased the car stated that we should stay with synthetic oil. The dealer wanted to charge me close to $90 to do the oil change, stating that the synthetic oil was a lot more expensive. I had other cars inspected at Firehouse in the past so I decided to give them a try with the oil change. They saved me almost $20. I will be going back to Firehouse for service on all of our cars.

I just recently relocated to Mooresville in the 28115 Zip Code. I received a coupon in the mail for a FREE Oil Change at Firehouse Auto Care located at 1522 Mecklenburg Highway in Mooresville which was perfect timing because I needed an oil change on my vehicle.

When I went in the gentleman behind the counter named David (I belive) took care of me. He asked if I wanted to upgrade to the Synthetic Oil because my truck specs call for it. I said sure how much extra will it be. He replied and said, what ever it is I will deduct the normal oil change price from the price for synthetic. I said ok not a problem.

About 30 mins later he returned and says your all set. Your total is 45.18. I grasped for breath and I said 45.18? He says yes I deducted the 32.75 off the price and your total is 45.18. I said that's nearly 13.00 a quart. He said 6 quarts were 50.94, the oil filter was 3.36 and LABOR was 19.26. Which is 73.46 before tax.

In my 32 years on this earth i have never paid this amount for an oil change. I have had the truck 3 years and have never paid more than 42.00 for a oil change even bringing to to the big box car repair shops when I was in a hurry for a change.

Here is a picture of the receipt.

I have been dealing with Firehouse Auto Care & Tire for my personal vehicles as well as my commercial fleet. I have found all the guys at Firehouse to be helpful. They are professional with the way they handle themselves and I would suggest anyone with a auto problem to contact them. The owner is one of the most honest people you will ever meet. How great and rare is it to have a qualified and honest auto mechanic to work on your vehicle.

Excellent Service. It is hard to trust anyone that works on your car especially if you are not sure what is wrong with it. David and the guys at Firehouse have always been honest and take the time to explain anything that needs to be done..Recommend anyone using them for all your auto repairs

Firehouse is the one place to go to get honest and professional service. Dave and his team have been taking care of our fleet for over 5 years and all of my personal vehicles.

He is prompt with the work, accurate on the quotes and always explains the options for repair short term and long term. His prices are very competitive and above all we trust him. Hard to find in the service business anymore. I have recommended him to all of my friends and associates as I know he puts his name on every job turned out of his shop.

Very disappointing.. I asked them to service my manual transmission.. which is basically an oil change. The case takes 3.5 qts per the service manual. They removed the Fill plug... Sucked the oil out and only put in 1.8 qts to fill the case. I got the car back and asked why they didn't remove the Drain plug and remove all the old oil and more importantly, why not remove the metal debris from the drain plug magnet. The comment..' That's the way we always do it. I paid $81 for this screwing... BEWARE

We all wonder when we drop our...

We all wonder when we drop our cars off for service if the work requested is actually performed? Recently I droped my car off for an oil change, fuel filter replacement and tire rotation. As in the past I always provide the oil/filter and fuel filter. On this occasion I had marked each tire with chalk numerically one thru four.

After payment was rendered I inspected each tire only to find the tire locations had not changed. I went back in to question if in fact the tires were rotated which I was assured they had. While I was not at the shop to witness if the work was or was not performed I find it difficult to comprehend how the tires could have been rotated as the numerical sequence had not changed. In addition, as each rim had a degree of brake dust upon them there was no evidence the lug nuts or rims had been handledm. When I returned to my car I inspected to see if the oil had been changed as well as the fuel filter. As the vehicle is a diesel assuming the car was road tested it is difficult to tell if the oil had been chaged as it will discolor quickly. As I did not mark the filter I could not tell if the filter was in fact changed. As I was preparing to leave the employee who I had paid who was parked beside me exited at which time I asked "Are you sure the tires were rotated" his reaction was "If you don't trust us take your business elsewhere".

Given today's economic times trust within the business community should be paramount and here is some of what a customer should expect of the businesses they patronize

Listen to customer needs and feedback.

. Offer high-quality products or services.

. Place customers ahead of profits.

. Have ethical business practices.

. Take responsible actions to address an issue.

. Have transparent and open business practices.

No, I will not return to Firehouse. I feel that while I can't 100% prove my tires were not rotated I feel there is substantial evidence to indicate the work was not performed.

GREAT AND HONEST STAFF!!! I took my car to the dealership for a simple oil change. The dealership told me that I needed over $2000 worth of repairs done to my car when my car only had 80,000 miles on it. I wanted a second opinion, and my friend recommended me to Firehouse. Dave and Chris were EXTREMELY helpful and honest with me. After they looked at the same things that the dealership looked at, they determined that most of the stuff the dealership said I needed did not need to be replaced. They explained everything to me in "simple terms" and got me out for less than $500!! These guys are great and they have earned my business forever with their honesty and professionalism. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
