        Grandma's is the best!!! My favorite place in all Chicagoland to eat. Everything fresh and homecooked...no frozen food used. If you like Southern cooking, it is the place to go. I moved here from Texas and have so missed cooking with southern flavor, until I found Grandma's. Food is reminds me of eating at Grandma's house. Some of the best: Chicken Fried Steak, Biscuits..and Biscuits in Gravy, Home Fries, Homemade Chicken Rice Soup, Homemade Fruit bread with your meals, Strawberry cheesecake to die for, Coconut & Banana Cream Pie Chocolate Cream Pie, Best Breakfast all Around + more, more, more. For lovers of northern cuisine...best Philly Steak Sandwiches and more. Extensive menu. I never get tired of the menu. Great friendly, helpful staff all around. The also sell whole pies and cakes to go, which is wonderful for the holidays....

        Oh how I miss the Greek-owned restaurants of suburban Chicago! I definitely took this place for granted. This restaurant has been around for at least 20 years that I know of, if not longer. It's just good family food. After living in the south for the past 7 years, I have developed a great appreciation for up-home food. This is one of them.
