"As a physiatrist, I provide patients and their families with a team-based approach, all with the goal of maximizing their function after suffering from trauma, stroke or any other chronic condition." Dr. Nora earned his medical degree, followed by an internship in internal medicine and a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pennsylvania. He was also a postdoctoral fellow in neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Nora's patient-care focus includes neurorehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, anoxic brain injury, delirium and ICU rehabilitation. In addition, Dr. Nora performs Botox for spasticity management. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the Association of Academic Physiatrists. Dr. Nora enjoys helping patients achieve what they were not able to do before. He builds trust with them by patient patient and recognizing that it takes time to build productive relationships.
