Lox Stock & Deli

I was asked to arrange for lunch for a friend who had a death in his family. The fact that the lunch was in NJ in a town I am unfamiliar with and it was 8:30PM on Friday night and the food needed to be delivered that Sunday at 2:00PM would be easy if I was in the area, but I am in Florida. So I went online to try to find a place who could do this for me on a Sunday with short notice. I found Lox, Stock and Deli on line and they had great reviews on line. I called Saturday AM and ordered the items. The staff was very nice and so helpful. I felt confident that they would do a good job.Unfortunately, I could not go to NJ for the funeral, but I did hear that the luncheon I ordered was EXCELLENT. I ordered a vegetable tray, fruit tray, danish tray and the deli platter that had the carved turkey "off the rack", . I also asked for coffee, soda and water with ice and cups and paper service for the food so it would be as easy as possible for the family to have lunch at this difficult time.

This is not only a full-service deli, but also has a glatt kosher restaurant open for lunch & dinner every day. It's our favorite - we eat there more than anywhere else. (It not just for Jews - we're not Jewish - it's just great food.) It's fabulous! You can see their menu at their website but they have so much more - a large number of truly special specials every night, a salad bar, and the widest desert selection. Service is caring & top-notch. They're easy to find; just take the Ryder's Lane exit from Route 1; they're on Ryder's Lane north of Milltown Road, north of Home Depot & Target, and near the light with the Taco Bell.

Lox, Stock and Deli for the years it has been in East Brunswick has never once failed the community - in terms of service and quality of the foods (from restaurant, to deli, to catering, to it's bakery). Organizations (Jewish and non), home gatherings, synagogue meetings & event, to parties; all state that they agree, they are the most professional folks around in the food business. Their staff is friendly, helpful and ALL know their products. Lox, Stock and Deli - one never goes wrong using them for any function, PLUS their food is incredibly delicious.
