Seredni Tire & Auto

I recently purchased four Michelin truck tires from this company. There were several initial problems such as putting them on backwards, putting in the wrong pressure, not keeping the old tire even though I requested it be done (I got it out of their tire dump myself) These were all annoyances, but nothing more.

However one of the tires developed a broken side wall only a month later. When I went back I was told that they did not warrant tires (this is a tire store) by a smart alecky counter person. I asked to see the owner. He did take the time to look at the tire, but said the large "V" shaped indention on the sidewall was normal. When I asked why the other three did not have this same "normal" (sic) aberration he became a smart aleck also and told me he would do nothing about it.



Needless to say I will not be doing business with them in the future, but from their attitude towards customer service, they do not care.

Sorry to have to write a bad review of this business. I wanted a particular tire within a short time frame, and Seredni was the only one that told me they could get it. Spent $1,000 on these tires. As soon as I left the store I noticed my entire truck shaking at 48+ mph. Took it back another day, they re-balanced the tires, lowered the tire pressure to far less then the manufacturer spec, and told me they "fixed" it, but said there was something wrong with my truck! I took it to an alignment shop who told me that there was nothing wrong with my front end, but suggested the tires might be "out of round" That was enough! It was a 60+ mile drive one way to Seredni, so I asked Goodyear if I could go somewhere else. They said yes, and gave me over to a dealer much closer to me.



The next tire dealer graciously honored the warranty, replaced the rear two tires which were completely out of round, and had to rebalance the front two, which were WAY out of balance, even though Seredni said they were "perfect."



It is my opinion that there were quite a few issues here - The original tires I was sold were probably returns to the warehouse, - and worse - there are a LOT of problems at Seredni, from management down. I would strongly recommend not using this business for anything.

Used this business for years with good success. After a brake job and additional rotor replacement I had dash warning lights on that weren't on when I left it. They looked and found behind the wheel well liner a sensor wire that "looked like it was cut, like sabotage" They spliced it and said road conditions would not be a problem. A few weeks later, lights came back and then went out. Took it back, they said it looked it got wet so they taped it better. Within a week lights back. Told I needed to talk to Chris, call tomorrow. Called three times to talk to Chris, not in. Took it to Toyota, they found the splices already corroded and no tape at all. I took the bill to Seredini. Seredini refused, said their work was good and I should have brought it back to them again. Remember: "You need to talk to Chris" I can't take my car back to the shop every week to have a splice repaired.

They can be good but if there is a problem...

I have always been very nervous about taking my car to anywhere accept my dealership for work however that all changed once I had my car serviced at Seredni Tire! Chris was helpful and got my car in the shop quickly. Joe, the mechanic was knowledgeable and did a great job! My family has taken our cars to each Seredni Tire location and we have never received anything but top notch service! We will never take our cars anywhere else!

Seredni’s Insurance Company Dictates Work Done, NOT the Customer



The tires are reasonably priced here, unfortunately that is the only positive thing I can say.

Seredni Tire and Auto on Route 360 in Mechanicsville, Virginia is a shop that uses claims of insurance liability as a sales gimmick in an attempt get vehicle owners to authorize unnecessary repairs and/or work on their vehicles.



After you drop off your car or truck, about a hour later you will get call. They will tell you that due to their business liability insurance additional work must be done and that your vehicle is unfit to drive until it is done.



This is a nasty sales gimmick used to con people into agreeing to unnecessary work. If your car is unfit to drive that is to be determined by the state vehicle safety inspection station you choose to take your car or truck to once a year. Not an vehicle repair and tire shop looking for financial gain.



There are other tire and auto repair shops in the Richmond, Virginia metro area and I strongly suggest taking your business there.



Life is too short and we all work too hard for our money. Skip Seredni Tire and Auto on Route 360 in Mechanicsville, VA and go to a business who respects your time and your hard earned money without the unprofessional attitudes, fictitious claims and sales drama found at Seredni.
