Fred Meyer Pharmacy

If I could give this Pharmacy a zero rating I would. Catherine Stevens is the Pharmacy manager and she is extremely rude and does not value any customers business. We recently moved to Maple Valley from Kirkland and switched from a Fred Meyer in Kirkland to the one in Maple Valley. My husband took a prescription for a pain Pill I take for my back and got it filled, he then brought it right home and I counted the pills. I have learned to count count these as I have been shorted before at other pharmacies but didn't realize it until the end of the bottle. I was supposed to receive 60 pills and counted 57. I counted these five times, still 57. I immediately called to alert the pharmacy thinking they would care and make it right. What I got from Catherine was an extremely rude and defensive response. She told me it had to be our fault, blaming us and making it seem like we were pill seeking. She said she absolutely will not be replacing my three missing pills. Now mind you with all the new laws a person can only get so many pills per 30 days depending on their condition. I have chronic back pain and need pain pills to function some days. I have an 8 month old and in order to even loft her and care for her I need pain pills. I have done PT and all that this is just chronic pain no matter what. After she was extremely rude to me and said she didn't care if I switched pharmacies I had my husband call and speak to her as well as the store manager. The Store manager Eric was very and accommodating. However, he has no pull in the pharmacy as they are a separate entity. He said he has had several complaints about her, so he was not surprised by our story. He offered us a gift card as to not lose us as Fred Meyer customers, but we will never use the pharmacy again. We switched from Target to them and I wish we had not. The Kirkland Fred Meyer pharmacy actually gave us someone else's entire bottle of meds, we returned them ASAP, but they also have put a random pill in one of my scripts as well. Something is wrong here and needs to be done. Catherine took upon herself to tell my doctor that she had done an audit which legally tied my docs hands from getting me me the missing 3 pills. This woman is the worst person in customer service and she is vindictive. My guess is by how defensive and rude she was that she is the one skimming pills, and as the manager she can hide it. We will never use another Fred Meyer pharmacy and we will be spreading the word around Maple Valley not to use them and to stay away from Catherine. I'm sure all the mom's in my different mommy groups will appreciate this info.
