Excel Granite

Buyer beware!! Do NOT use Excel Granite. They created the most stressful experience I dealt with during my home renovations. I picked out my granite in March and called in late April to make an appointment to have a template made. The appointment was scheduled for May 1st. The day before, they called to confirm the appointment for May 2nd. When I said it was scheduled for May 1st, not May 2nd, they said “oh sorry, we forgot to tell you.” I had already taken the day off from work. They never called me about installation. After two weeks I finally called them (which involves having to call 20 times until someone picks up). They told me installation would be on Tuesday, May 20th. On Monday, May 19th, I received a call confirming this. I received a second call mid-day asking me to confirm a measurement. Turns out the person who measured was off by about 55 inches on my breakfast bar. I assumed this would be resolved. I received a third call later in the day saying the installation wasn’t going to happen, and they said I should already have known this. I asked if installation would get moved to Wednesday the 21st and they said yes. On Tuesday, still no word from them confirming Wednesday, so I made 20 calls again to reach someone. Apparently Wednesday was booked up, and they wanted me to wait until Friday for installation. Granite finally gets installed on Friday, May 23rd. They forgot both the dishwasher clips and a piece of the granite. A corner of my breakfast bar was also not polished and had chips in it. They scheduled an appointment for Friday, May 30th to bring the missing pieces. I get a call confirming my appointment for Thursday the 29th. How can you just change a customer’s appointment with no notice? Don’t they realize people work? I finally got it changed back to its original date and time frame of 9 AM-12 PM. They delivered only dishwasher clips at 9 AM. They said they broke my missing piece and would bring a new piece of granite “later”. Needless to say, it’s Friday night and I still do not have the missing piece. I was not able to get in touch with anyone for most of the day, and when I did, they said they would call back but never did. The prices are not worth the aggravation!!

Perfect countertop... perfect costumer service, perfect crew... I'm very glad of the decision that we made. Excel granite was beyond my expectation. business was done smoothly and very professional.

They really live up to their company name here. I love my counter tops and don't think anyone else could have done a better job for the price I paid. Totally worth it.

GREAT WORK!!! That's all I have to say. These guys did such a great job installing my sink and left my kitchen clean I was really amazed! Highly recommend these guys.

The guys were very helpful and polite doing a great job. Excellent work done from start to finish. Moved things they didn't have to and even put it back after the work was done. I was really sold once I seen that. Service was 5 star most definitely. Thanks again.

The staff here are great. Very professional and polite assisting me the hole way. I love the granite counter tops we picked out. It makes things look so different. Thanks for all the help in picking the right one.

If you have called you know that EXCEL GRANITE wants a 50% deposit before they even see the job. Don't believe it when they say it is 100% refundable- they lie!!!! They took my deposit in order to come give me an estimate and I decided not to use them due to the fact that they destroyed my current counters before I agreed to get new one's. It gets better, when I called to get my refund they refused saying my bank needed a signature before they could refund me any money. I then called my bank who assured me that was not true. The bank then said they were going to make a conference call to Excel in regards to not refunding. They spoke with Bruna and the owner, a rude, dishonest thief, who I quote, told my bank to "call the cops!" So if you want your money stolen and your current counters destroyed EXCEL IS THE COMPANY! They are not even worth a star!!! They practice the most dishonest business I have ever seen. AWFUL. DO NOT USE. BUYER BEWARE!

It is just so sooo weird that each site that has reviews about this place has great reviews posted in one day, hmmm out of 12 reviews over past 2 years 5 posted same day, all great service and promoting language. This site has 5 reviews and 4 of them posted on same day, so i guess there is a lot of people just decided to sit down and write a review on Nov 30th 2009. Yea right! Just stop giving yourself good reviews all the time, already getting redicilous, if you have bad service try to do better and not just review yourself to get more clients who end up being unhappy
