A completely unprofessional and horrible experience. I went on a Saturday and it was very crowded. This David's Bridal seems to have mostly prom dresses and ball gowns.

My stylist was unresponsive, unhelpful and barely spoke to me. She pulled dresses that were okay. She never even pinned the dresses and never asked how I liked it. I tried on a few dresses and left. There were groups of people who stared at you while you tried on dresses and never moved to let you look in the mirrors.

Additionally, the entire store was a mess. The dressing rooms are very small and dirty. There were dresses and iPads sitting on the ground. I will not be supporting David's Bridal or any of their related companies.

When I came in to order my gown, I had a good experience and was able to find a dress. I then set up an apt for my bridesmaids to come in as a group to purchase their dresses. I selected a day and was told my apt needed to be changed because my sales person was not scheduled on that day of the week, so I rescheduled at that time At their request. When I arrived today my group of 8 approached the front desk and were not greeted by the woman standing at the desk for 10 minutes. There were no other customers in the area. When she finally took my info she told me I had an apt with Josephine (NOT the woman I was scheduled with) and that she was also working with a bride. After waiting at the desk for another 15 minutes no one came to help us. We then took it upon ourselves to pull dresses to try on. After searching for nearly 30 more minutes we had apx 15 styles to try on between my girls when Josephine finally arrived. She looked at us and said we needed to select just 1 dress style to try on. I explained that I wanted all of my maids to have different style dresses to which she rudely responded "whatever you say" and informed us that she would unlock 3 dressing rooms for us. 3 rooms for all 8 of us. She refused to measure my maids as she is "a good guesser". She then left and did not return until we were fully clothed and ready to leave. At this point I was so upset with the lack of service that I told all of my girls to hold off on making a purchase even though every single one was able to find a dress. When i told her we would just order online she said "whatever, you're the bride" and walked away. Even still I gave DB the benefit of the doubt and still planned to order online. However, I was told when buying my gown that my maids would get $20 off for my purchase, but when I called the store and spoke with Ashley she stated "only in store" and hung up on me. You just lost 8 sales and I will be canceling my appointment for gown alterations. Truly disappointed.

Won't be back. They over schedule all their appointments. There are only 2 staging areas to at least 15-20 dressing rooms. No room or even seats for family members. Staff are rushed and working with more than 1 person at a time. They also seemed to be pushing the same dresses to the brides (for bigger commissions maybe)? Dresses are cheaper in price and quality.

I honestly have to say my experience was horrible. Our first salesperson was Michelle. She refused to look at a picture the bride had as a sample of what she was looking for in her dream dress. We all looked at eachother in disbelief. Then she continued to lecture us on her "pet peaves" on what she can't stand in people. She said if a bride spends too much time looking at a dress then it's not her dress and we need to move on. Seriously? Then, because our salesperson didn't look at the original dress we wanted, she kept bringing out a ton of dresses that were completely not the brides style. The bridesmaids got frustrated and started looking for ourselves. Then we got scolded for pulling dresses we wanted the bride to try on. Michelle told us she wanted to focus on the bride only and until we find her dress we are not allowed to try on dresses. She made us all furious and we are nice people. She was a total drill sargent and made what was suppose to be a fun experience very frustrating

I came into the store with the bride, rest of the bridesmaids, mother of the groom and mother of the bride, and aunt of the bride to look for bridesmaids dresses for our 6:30pm appointment. I am the sister of the groom. I also had brought my three month old daughter with us. When we arrived at our appointment, there was confusion on who was helping us. It took a while and we finally met with our sales consultant. I didn't get her name because she never introduced herself to us. She seemed very rushed and uninterested in helping us. She was more interested in guessing our sizes than to listen to us about what size we are. We got to our dressing location and were left to fend for ourselves. We had no help in looking at other dresses. When our sales consultant did check on us, we were met with hesitation to try on different styles of dresses. She would rather have had us settle on the dresses she gave us. We ended up having to go look at other dresses ourselves. The sales consultant just seemed overwhelmed and wanted to rush us through. We were all getting a little frustrated because the lack of professionalism that we were experiencing. We felt like we were inconveniencing the staff because we were only there for bridesmaid dresses. Since the consultant was so uninterested in helping us, we said "thank you" and proceeded to leave. Being in Michigan and October, it was getting a little chilly out and I had my three month old daughter in her car seat and under a blanket. She was in the store with us the whole time we were there. The sales consultant proceeded to ask how the weather was outside. We responded that it was getting cooler outside, since the sun was going down. She then asked me if I "had a hat" for my daughter. I said no, we were just going to the car. She then proceeded to stand there and stare at me, judging me for not having a hat for my daughter; in front of my family and other customers. I left very upset and embarrassed. This woman had no right to proceed to stand there and stare me down for not having a hat for my daughter. I felt like the worst mom in the world, I didn't come to David's Bridal to have a parenting class, I came to look at bridesmaids dresses, which she failed in doing that. I bought my wedding dress and all my bridesmaids' dresses at David's Bridal 8 years ago and remember experiencing the same type of customer service. I understand that the sales consultants deal with stressful situations; wedding dress shopping is a big deal. I understand that some customers are not the nicest to the staff in the stores. I just feel like the sales consultants don't make it a personal experience. Some of their attitudes actually make it a negative experience. It's almost like its a hassle that we are there. We would have spent more time in the store if we had a sales consultant that was interested in helping us. And to judge me on my parenting skills is crossing a line. Like I said, I would like to give you her name, but she never introduced herself and I left upset, so I didn't bother asking her name then. We have decided against getting our dresses at David's Bridal because of the experience at this store. We would rather spend out money at a place that is willing to help us. If I could rate the store no stars, I would.

The people here are rude. They're always rushing. They don't stop to take time to help you. They're just trying to sell you their products. I went in last week, newly engaged. I walked in, hoping to just look around with my sister. I was greeted rudely and told that I was NOT allowed to pull out, look, and try on any dresses. I expected to at least just walk around, look at the options they had to offer. We all know that the pictures online do no justice for the dresses. I've had my share of retail and customer service. That was probably the most unprofessional and rude service I have ever experienced. I didn't get a chance to even get a name or a good look at the employee. I fully understand that if I'm going to try it on, it's with an appointment. Obviously, the dresses on expensive. I would never want to even try them on if I wasn't ready. This rude and unprofessional service has made me see that David's Bridal is not for me. Because of this second experience, I've decided to not purchase anything from them for my wedding. I hope they consider that their customers are obviously their biggest contributor to their company and they need to start treating them better.

Contrary to previous reviews, I had an excellent experience at this David's Bridal. I knew I had a small budget for my expensive taste so I went to DB to look at their Vera Wang White gowns. They are as gorgeous as they look online. I think that the experience depends 100% on your consultant- I worked with Katie and she was a doll. Was very prompt with everything and very informative. She pulled exactly what I wanted and was extremely courteous and respectful to me and my family during the entire appointment. I was not sure if I wanted to purchase the gown that day but she was very understanding and gave me her information should I want to return to try it on again, which is exactly what I'm doing! :)

NEVER give this place your bus...

NEVER give this place your business. My dress was beautiful however the combination of the rude, incompetent staff and dirty/sloppy store makes this not worth it. So far the worst part of planning my wedding was dealing with David's Bridal.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! NOT TO MENTION OVER-PRICED, POOR QUALITY **GARBAGE** I wish I could give them a ZERO STAR rating. I have never been treated like such trash in my life; let alone by employees at a store. Don't bother trying to report it to a manager, they are just as bad, if not worse! Every single employee in this place has a bug up their a**. I actually had to ask the old lady at the counter "helping" me if she was having a bad day.. she snapped back at me "NO!" I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER return to this store, or ANY David's Bridal for that matter. ((My girl friend told me a horror story about the one over on the west-side as well!))

They just lost a TON of business because I will go out of my way to tell everyone I know not to step foot in this store.



Don't waste your time!!!!



This place needs to close down. Period.

Humiliating, Rude and Filithy

I took a friend of mine to Davids Bridal to shop for her wedding gown. When we got there and the consultant found out her budget for the gown alone was only 350.00 we were treated like second, no third rate citizens. The Store was filthy, the carpeting stunk and looks as if it's Never been cleaned. When I tried to go look for some gowns on my own I was "scolded" by the consultant telling me I was not allowed to "look at the gowns on the rack only what she brings us. The consultant only wanted to throw her into the first ugly thing she thought she could get a sale on. I wanted to explore some different styles for my friend and help her get the most beautiful dress she could for her budget. No sale for Davids for that bride and now that my daughter is getting married in November and even though her gown budget is substantially higher we wont go back there for their abuse, I likened the experience at Davids Bridal to a cross between a bad used car buying session and a session with a vacuum cleaner salesperson.

Worthless! Truly Worthless Place

My Fiance went up there today and was browsing the store for 20 minutes and not one person offered to help her!!! There were others who walked in and got waited on right away. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a dress. The worst part is they weren't even busy!!!! How does the place stay in business with customer service skills like that?
