Dr. Bola Sogade earned her doctorate of medicine from the University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Nigeria and then continued her education through an internship in Lagos. Eventually, however, she relocated to the United States, where she finished specializing in OB/GYN care and family medicine. She earned her dual certification and, ever since, has been utilizing her knowledge and experiences to give back to her community. She works as an assistant professor at Mercer University, where she helps inspire young medical students and residents by sharing her unique perspective.
