Dr. Stephen Pollard is the Co-Founder of the practice and also the Research Director emeritus for Family Allergy & Asthma Research Institute. Dr. Pollard is a 1975 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his residency in pediatrics and an additional two years as a fellow in Allergy & immunotherapy at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Pollard is board certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy & Immunology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology recertified, a conjoint Board of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. He is currently a clinical professor at the University of Louisville and takes an active teaching role in the education of the residents and medical students. He is also actively involved in clinical research, conducting hundreds of clinical trials with allergy and asthma medications and has authored several medical journal articles. Dr. Pollard’s awards are too vast to list, but he has been selected as one of Louisville’s Top Doctors by Louisville Magazine numerous times, as well as been named one of America’s Top Physicians on multiple occasions by the Consumer Research Council, Vitals.com, and more.
