Provided by SuperpagesWe had ordered Tea & Samosas to snack on & ordered Naan, rice & Saag for my daughter. The lady who took our order (the owner) firstly was very loud & bossy in her tone. Asks my husband what else we would like & we said that we would like to first feed our kid & enjoy the tea & samosas & then order our meal as it would become cold, so right away she said (and again very loudly) that we need to order everything together. We said that we would like to wait & if she had a problem with that? It was clear that she had a problem as she started explaining how the food may get delayed by the kitchen IF THEY GOT BUSY etc etc ... we said that we would like to wait & take our chances, it that was OK. She just walked away from our table. When our food started to come out (now were there almost 15 minutes) we requested to go to the table they had cleaned up for us. When we got-up to go to the table the owner lady (who had a very loud voice) said that we could not go there. contd ...

Provided by SuperpagesNEVER NEVER NEVER ... We were literary kicked out of here .... because we are INDIANS. Sad & sorry to see how they discriminate Indian clientele. We were the only Indian table at the restaurant. Everyone who got there after us (non Indian) were greeted so warmly and with smiles. We noticed that feeling of being left out & ignored from the start. First we requested a booth, to be seated. They refused it to us saying it was reserved. Well so be it. We sat & waited for someone to come take our order. Meanwhile we ordered some tea & samosas from the other hostess / waitress who said that her mother would take our full order. Meanwhile another booth got vacant & we requested to be moved there & at that moment the owner said YES & said that they would get the table cleaned up for us. So we waited. Nothing happened & we asked again, so they got the table cleaned-up. They did not move our stuff to the other table & so we waited again. Contd on previous message.

Provided by SuperpagesI unfortunately was very disappointed with the dinner. The Tandoori chicken was not only over cooked (dry) but was slightly burned. Even the rice was a bit dry. Perhaps I came on an off night or a new cook. Who knows? In any event, the Tandoori chicken at least paled in comparison to other similar restaurants, such as India's Oven on Beverly Blvd in L.A.. Nevertheless, I will try the highly recommended buffet and hopefully I will be able to give a much higher rating than a paltry two stars.

Provided by SuperpagesVery good food. They can make meals spicy or not. If you're unfamiliar with Indian food, come to the lunch buffet. One can sample lots of things, and find out what you like for next time. It has both indoor and sidewalk outdoor tables.
