Decatur Pediatric Group

My experience at Decatur Pediatrics has been horrible. The management at this facility are impossible to get in contact with and are unprofessional. They consistently over charge you with bogus reasoning. They double charge for wellness examinations in order to nickel and dime patients and insurance companies. I was told that if I wanted to avoid a 25-dollar co pay at wellness examinations, I would have to refuse advice of the treating physician. What type of treatment is that? If I did not need any advice or treatment why would I be in your office??? If you want to be robbed at each visit, please give them a try. Decatur Pediatrics should be exposed for their crooked practices.

Horrible experience. I called and scheduled an appointment for my children, specifically told the front desk assistant why I needed the appointment for my child. Upon arrival I was paid the Copay and we saw the nurse, she told me I would need to schedule another appointment because they don't do well exam and sick appointments in a day you have to pay two copayments...so my son has went in twice for allergies and I was told that the prescription was sent to the pharmacy, front desk clerk even said the medicine would e ready at the pharMacy that was requested... pharmacy says that no precription was recieved. I called to have my daughter's immunization records printed, she has not been seen because, according to the first appointment with my other two, she was not sick. I was told they can't do anything thing and the doc. We're not accepting any new patients....I'm done, I am tired of dealing...choice is yours but I suggest you find another office for your children if considering.

I actually love this practice. My children have been going here for about 7 years. (I left GA for a few years, and even chose Dec Peds as my boys primary dr when I moved back) Drs. Pleasant, Willingham, Doster, and Osunkoya are AWESOME and caring doctors, and they remember my boys case history, WITHOUT even pulling up their files. True, there have been some changes in the front office, and the ball can and will get dropped for things like referrals (and there is one particular lady in the front that i do NOT care for, AT ALL). But overall, the doctors and care is AWESOME. My boys love this office. Hillandale location, while its the newer modern one, you can wait quite a while to be seen, but once the Dr comes in, they will makes sure all bases are covered and all questions are answered!!

I only rated this place one star because I had to choose something. THIS DOCTOR'S OFFICE IS HORRIBLE!!! If you prefer good quality care for your child and what's best for your hard earned money DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. The customer service is very poor. After waiting over 2 hours I was never seen by anyone and requested a refund for my copayment. Poor staff, the WORST customer service!!! Even after i let the nurses know my child and I had been waiting forever and left, I still hadn't heard from anyone personally. JUST HORRIBLE AND SUCH A WASTE OF MY TIME!!! I would have appreciated a call from the doctor on duty giving us a call to properly apologize. I will NEVER visit this place again. I visited the CLARKSTON location, but based on the review above, I see it doesn't matter. I also agree that they OVER CHARGE on everything!!!
