Browns Mill Elementary School

Ms. Apenyo is the worst teacher ever ! Called my son stupid and now other kids are as well. Very sarcastic and takes an uncaring tone when you address a concern, she literally told me "Im sorry you feel that way". She waited till the week of field day (when I wrote her mind you not vice versa) to inform me that my child wouldnt be invited to field day. At this point I paid already. I asked her about recommending my child to the RTI pogram and in turn she asked me about an outside psychologist after I told her that cost 1k just for testing and that I wanted to used the schools resources. She then told me that I dont listen. Mind you I pay the school a visit weekly and his dad has as well. She claimed he was missing homework and when I say it is in his bookbag she responded by saying that she doesnt look through bookbags, She was just combatibe most of the year. Ms. Cooley was a good teacher academically but called me maybe twice this year but my son has had Needs improvement on his progress report ALL YEAR in both core classes but not in the other classes. I am setting up a meeting with the principal and I am working on changing his school for next year
