While at ECU, Dr. Baldwin completed numerous bariatric procedures including sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, single anastomosis duodenal ileostomy (SADI) and multiple revisional procedures including conversion of sleeve gastrectomy to bypass and bypass revisions for ineffective weight loss. Dr. Baldwin also performs a wide range of operations including gallbladder surgery, foregut operations for reflux and hiatal hernias and abdominal wall and groin hernias. He performs these operations utilizing the robotic surgery platform which minimizes incision size, recovery and pain after surgery.

General Info: Yogesh K. Patel, MD, FACS Dr. Yogesh K. Patel completed his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. He went on to receive a Doctor of Medicine with high honors from Ross University, School of Medicine in 2002. Dr. Patel spent five years in residency at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, California, where he obtained his training in General, Breast, Laparoscopic, and Trauma Surgery. After completing his residency, Dr. Patel moved to Las Vegas where he joined a General Surgery practice in 2007.
