I recently moved to the metro Detroit area (Royal Oak). I was looking for a new place to get my hair done and there were 100's of choices. I first tried a few salons right in Royal Oak and either didn't like my cuts or found the prices to be ridiculously over priced for the services I received. Because I am a blonde I am really particular about my hair and I have had horrible experiences in the past. I got the name of this salon from a friend and figured I would try it out.



First off the price was extremely fair for everything that I got done. It was around $120-$150 for a cut, color, etc. I have long, thick hair too so it takes extra care.



Second I had Alyse Ebensperger. She was amazing. She listened to what I had to say and gave me helpful suggestions that she thought may be better for my hair and face, and she was right. The other women that work there were all very friendly as well. From the minute I walked in the door the receptionist was very welcoming and accomodating, getting me something to drink immediately and made sure I was taken care of while waiting for Alyse (I waited less than 5 minutes all 3 times I was there to be waited on) Super fast compared to other places where I have waited 30 + minutes to begin my appointment.



Third the facility is really clean. The salon is decorated very well, it makes you feel comfortable and has every modern necessity you could need at a hair salon. It has cool exposed brick inside and though it is an older building it is very trendy. I just love the interior.



The only con I have about this place is that there is only one woman there who does eyebrows. Not that it is a big deal, but I just ended up having to go somewhere else in Royal Oak because i didn't want to drive all the way back to Lake Orion just to get my eyebrows done in the future.
