The Whitakers are very nice people---with absolutely no professional or hobby dog experience, None has ever trained a dog to off leash reliability. The father does not own a dog, & Lucy, the daughter, 1 of the owners, lives in California. The dogs have to play where they eliminate. They are proud to be odor free, as they use odor eliminator, but dogs do go home with urinary tract infections from holding urine, & exhausted, not from play, but from not laying down where they pee. They are also proud to be Ill,. Dept of Agriculture to board 80 dogs. If your dog is housebroken, or easily stressed, you might want to look around for a more humanely run facility.

The positive reviews are way to general for you to really be able to tell anything. & dogs should be able to sleep away from the places they eliminate.

Very good experience just getting information about boarding with them. I'm doing my homework on boarding my puppy and they were very helpful and knowledgeable.

It would be nice to have an open house once a year or maybe even twice a year but the service and care here is excellent.

Staff is super- very friendly and caring. Dawn is great- brushes Gatsby and makes sure paws are clean before sending home. Gatsby obviously enjoys his stay. Everyone is accommodating.

I really love Yuppy Puppy! Great employees, and great service. They really do their job well. The only place I take my dog.

Their facility is always clean and odor free. My dog comes home happy and tired from a day of play. The staff always greets my dog by her name.

I would never take my dog there again. I took my dog there when I was on vacation for 2 weeks. When I got back the poor thing looked like he had not been fed the entire time I was gone. He also looked and smelled like they had him sleeping in his own waste.
