        Dr. Makimaa is an athlete and a doctor. Dr. Makimaa competed in the Ironman World Championship in Kona, HI October 2015. His high school sports included soccer, basketball, and track. In undergraduate school, he played rugby and in medical school, he played on the basketball team. This led him to an obvious career in sports medicine. He is a foot and ankle specialist.

        The staff is wonderful.. And Dr Makimaa has helped me love to run again.. I love my orthotics :)
