I took my son's car there for service and they quoted me four times the amount that I actually paid for the work to be done. Quote was $1400.00. I paid $350.00



I returned sometime later to just have the tires rotated since this gas station is very close and convenient. Well, they tell me they can't do it since there is too much wear on the tires. I checked the tires and there is still about a years worth of tread on the tires. Is this place a gas station or a high end auto shop?!?! My son's car is not new but very nice for a teenager and has some aftermarket pieces. They treat it like they are too good to service it.



It is located in an area of very affluent people but they are overpriced. Whatever happened to just being a "neighborhood gas station"?

My friend has been telling me for some time now about the auto service at Klahanie Shell. Gas stations are generally known for being rip-offs when it comes to getting work done on your car. I went in today with what turned out to be a sheet metal screw in my right front tire. They pulled it out (didn't fully penentrate the tire so no repair required) and did nto charge me a thing. Service was fast and courteous - much more than I can say for the place where I originally bought the tires.
