Fillings
Resin Composite
Many people get cavities and broken teeth. To treat them, we offer fillings. Most people prefer to use composite resin because it looks like your normal teeth, though there are other options if you prefer. Composite resin takes a little longer because we have to apply it one layer at a time. We also need to use a special light to harden the area around the filling.
Veneers
Veneers are a thin coat that a dental technician applies right over your teeth. In order to proceed with veneers, you need to have a model made of your teeth so that your veneers can be custom made to fit your mouth. We also have to remove some enamel to make them permanent.
Crowns
Porcelain crowns can be used for cavities when the decay is really bad. They are also used if we have tried to fill the tooth several times already. We also use them with severely damaged teeth.

Dr. Gandhi received his degree of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and a Certificate of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2001. He finished an internship in OMFS at the University of Kentucky to further his education. Dr. Gandhi completed a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York. Dr. Gandhi practices General Dentistry with a focus on Oral Surgery and IV Sedation. He is certified in Parenteral Conscious Sedation, Enteral Sedation, Intramuscular Sedation and Nitrous Oxide Sedation.

Dr. Kamran Shaikh earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the New York University College of Dentistry. He went on to do a hospital-based residency at the University of Louisville. After practicing general dentistry for a couple years, Dr. Shaikh returned to the University of Louisville to pursue his passion of being an orthodontist while also earning his Master’s degree in Oral Biology.
