Forest West Animal Clinic

I highly recommend them . They truly love their patients & do not try to pressure the pet owners into procedures that are not necessary. As a matter of fact , I requested that they trim our cats claws. They found that one claw had become ingrown. They addressed the problem & didn't even charge me for it! How awesome is that? Thanks Dr. Griggs!

I have been going to Forest West for a least a decade through good times and bad and will continue to place my fur babies in the professional care of the clinic

I have been taking my various girls to Forest West for over 25 years and I would not take them anywhere else. Dr. Griggs is the best and the staff is great. All are very caring, compassionate and truly love their patients.

Can not imagine taking my babies elsewhere. Dr. Griggs is the most knowledgeable and compassionate Vet. I've ever known and the staff, along with Jo Ann Rodriguez are amazing !

We are so lucky to have Dr. Griggs in our neighborhood. She is a first-class, well-trained veterinarian. We have put many of our pets in her care and have never been disappointed. The clinic staff are very helpful and go the extra mile.

I've been taking my babies to Forest West for almost ten years, even though from Montrose it is quite a drive to get to Pinemont & Antoine. But I could never bring my four-legged children anywhere else. Dr. Griggs is a compassionate, very talented surgeon.

Brought a pup I rescued off the streets. Service was great. Dr. Griggs was kind, compassionate and showed how much she cares for animals, whether they are yours or a rescue. She gave a thorough overview of the dog's health, gave practical suggestions and fair quotes for the treatments or services. They also respect the client by encouraging but not pushing services. Great place, will need to being my pets here as well!

We saw Dr Griggs for our regular heart worm checkup-she was wonderful. You can't tell how wonderful they are just by looking at this place. It is in a very divey looking shopping center-Oak Forest. The vet's clinic just reads Animal Clinic on the sign and is in the same shopping center as subway and a few other hodgepodge stores. Definitely a don't judge a book by it's cover sort of thing. Everyone was friendly and the vet was really lovely. The price of the heart worm medicine was much cheaper than other places, too.

Dr. Griggs and her team are truly amazing! I've used them for all my vet needs for nine years now. Not only does Dr. Griggs genuinely care for my pets but she is beyond great with my children. My oldest son is eight years old and is autistic. She is always more than eager to answer all of his questions and there are a lot! She even lets him listen to all of our pets heart beats. Dr. Griggs takes the time to make him feel special, which means a lot to him and means the world to me! She is an excellent veterinarian and an even more compassionate and loving human being!

This place is the best ever. We have been going there for many years and couldn't possibley get better care for our dogs than we get here. It is not located in the best area but if you want the best, venture on over. Dr. Griggs is as good as it gets. Caring, compassionate. Great service from everyone there.

Very reasonable and very friendly. Its a small location which is great if you like a more personal experience versus feeling like a number. Its very convenient if you're in the neighborhood. Dr. Tinkey is very thorough and informative. I've taken all my animals here for spay/neuter, check ups, and vaccines.

We have been taking our pets to Dr Griggs since about 1998. They always know our names and our pet's names, but the best part is the excellent vet & staff, that our pets like too. That is critical for us, not do they recognize me. My family has always had pets. I'm 67 and have seen many vets in many cities. I feel that Dr Griggs & staff are top notch. Not all are. Watch how your pet behaves around your Vets office. If they are scared, bring them here. I wish I had more stars to give.

Dr. Donna is the best vet ever. She always seems very concerned for your pets, it isn't just a business. We have been going to her for maybe 15 yrs now and she has always been great. The entire staff is very friendly as well.

Small location but big service! Staff is always nice, animals treated very kindly, prices are reasonable. I take my dog and cats there for shots, etc... I would recommend this practice to anyone with animals.

My girls have been going to Forest West for over 20 years and I would not think of going anywhere else. Dr. Griggs is an excellant vet as is Dr. Alborta who recently joined the clinic. Both are compassionate and caring. The staff is great.

I had my dog in there under emergency conditions that I knew would not come out favorably for my pet of 10 years. They helped me through it and even sent a sympathy card about my animal, later on in the week. I am using them with my new dog and I will continue to use them as long as I live close to them.
