I’d been away on a long vacation and when I came back home, there was a terrible sight awaiting me. The locks to my front door were broken, and whoever had broken into the property did away with most of the electronic goods. Thankfully, I hadn’t lost much, but the experience left me shaken nevertheless. After dealing with the authorities, the first thing I needed was – a locksmith. I’d moved into Hoboken only recently and didn’t know any reliable locksmith. My neighbor suggested Hoboken Lock & Locksmith and I must say, I’m very impressed with these guys.

It was around 9 pm when I called these guys. They sent a technician to my place within 15 minutes. From the way they carried themselves to the manner in which they carried out the job, it was evident that they were complete pros. Within an hour, they’d fixed damage, replaced the lock on the front door with a high security one to prevent similar mishaps in the future and charged me a reasonable price for it all. Excellent team work from Hoboken Lock & Locksmith. Gary and Eric together managed to rekey the locks in the entire building within two hours! After the master key went missing, the security of the entire property was in jeopardy. Despite the late hour, these guys didnt hesitate to rush to my aid. I couldnt be more indebted to Hoboken Lock & Locksmith for helping out of a tight spot! I was getting ready for an interview at a firm that Id always dreamt of getting into. Ive been planning this day for weeks, my files were all organized and locked up in the car trunk, my clothes ironed out, my leather shoes shined and my car sent for a tune up. But despite my meticulous planning, fate had other plans. After arriving at the venue, when I tried to open up the trunk, it just wouldnt budge. The lock was jammed shut and all my files, my resume, my portfolio was locked up in it. It was the worst nightmare ever! When I saw all the amazing reviews, I thought "can a locksmith really be this great?" Yes. They Can. I got locked out of my apartment the other night, with a busted doorknob that wouldn't turn. Hoboken Lock & Locksmith had a bunch of other jobs but made sure to keep in touch with me and let me know what time he'd be there. Showed up in an hour and within 10 minutes, my door was opened. And he completely fixed my doorknob all for under $100 late night. Mike the tech doesn't want to rip you off, and you can tell he really wants to do a great job and be friendly while also helping the customer out. Hoboken Lock & Locksmith is great! My sister and I were frantic having been locked out of our apartment for hours. After calling Hoboken Lock & Locksmith , Arthur met us immediately and within 2 minutes he had unlocked the door. Arthur was fantastic, and the price was extremely reasonable. I would, and have, recommend Hoboken Lock & Locksmith to anyone looking for a locksmith. Shon come the day after my inquiry to change our lock. He was very knowledgeable, giving us an overview on what the existing lock was like, etc. He even recommended a cheaper service that what I initially called him for after looking at our lock. Service was very quick, and he left everything clean and tidied up. Didn't rush us through or seem hurried, chatted with us throughout the entire install, even recommending a couple of great pizza spots in our neighborhood. Leave it to me to be a drunkass and lose my keys one month into moving into my new apartment after having lived in doorman buildings with extra keys for the past 8 years... Finally decided I needed to get a new lock installed, and called this place on a late Saturday afternoon. When I told him I'd like him to come "as soon as possible" he said he would be able to come the next morning since I'm on the UWS...fine with me. About an hour and a half later he called again saying that he had a recommendation for a place closer to me that could come right away if I would like, since it sounded "urgent". Now THAT is amazing customer service. Todd installed my lock within 20 minutes and I will never use anyone else. Super nice, legit (i.e. non shady), and professional. LOVE Hoboken Lock & Locksmith ! Our bottom lock - that had been installed less than a year ago by another guy - had been sticking for months now and I figured we should get that fixed. Spotted a Living Social deal and snapped it up quick. Very easy to schedule, though they seem busy! When Edwardo arrived he was very efficient and professional. Was able to explain what was going on and what went wrong. (The previous locksmith had given us an old gnarly lock!) Replaced it, charged what was on the website, and he was off! Great to work with - we'll definitely be using him for future locksmithing!
