- Truman Refuse Company is a family owned and operated solid waste disposal service, which was started by William S. Truman, Jr., 50 years of age. He started out with one truck, and it is now a multi-trucks operation owned and operated by the second generation, hauler Spencer Truman. We operate out of a new 1800 sq ft facility that serves as our home base in Rockville. We take great pride in providing excellent waste collection services at a fair price with friendly, courteous workers. Many of our employees have been with us for a long time, which allows them to know both the community and our customer base. Please feel free to browse through the remainder of our website to answer any questions or inquiries you may have. We have been in business more than 50 years. Truman Refuse has served us for two decades. They miss maybe one pickup per year or less, which is acceptable. If there is a change in pickup schedule, due to holiday, weather, etc., they will leave a message on their phone - very convenient.
Just awful. These guys are horrendous. They don't return their calls. They don't pick up on days they're supposed to... and billing is a nightmare. I'm tell you, RUN, do not walk away from Truman Refuse when it comes to your residential garbage collection in Richmond, Virginia. RUN!
