MPI Coin offers the Coins of America program to more than 12, 000 financial institutions and retailers nationwide. We were founded in 1972 and began our coin program in 1996. We've been adding our own custom designs and packaging to create unique coin products ever since. We sell U.S. Mint and privately minted coins. Our products include the U.S. Mint's 50 State Quarters' Program, American Eagles, U.S. Mint Proof Sets, commemoratives, vintage coins, photo mints, fine jewelry, sports coins and commemoratives. We also provide marketing material and support to help you achieve the goals of your coin program. We provide the products and coin expertise so that you can concentrate on what you do best banking. MPI Coin made its first contributions in December of 2001. Using funds set aside from coins minted to commemorate the events of September 11th, we made donations of $125, 000 to the American Red Cross and $75, 000 to the Local 215 Disaster Fund. The MPI Coin Foundation was officially founded in 2002 to oversee future contributions, responsibly manage the funds we raise, and to develop Recent donations have included the Wisconsin USO, the YMCA, and the Children's Space Shuttle Fund. The Challenger Commemorative Coin was our first official American Spirit Coin. Coins minted in response to national events will, as a matter of course, be permanently placed in our American Spirit program and raise funds for appropriate relief agencies.
