Child Protective Service

I am not at all happy with the way my CPS case is being handled, the abuse alligation against my ex-husband and I am being treated as an abuser as well and also they ask my kids questions as if we are still together and in the same home, we have been divorced for 2 yrs! Also they didn't even ask my children anything about the actual 2 incidents that the report is based on! This is the fathers 5th case and i have actually been told something really bad must happen before they can do anything,WHAT? You want me to wait till my children are injured before you can take action! Also they have not followed there own procedures and my calls are never returned! Twice I have been set up for a visitation and the case worker never even came!!!

I am not impressed with Child Protective Services at all. I have CPS called on me twice. When they came out it was just a rutine check- up so they could see my living situation. I have never had a recored indicating that I have hurt my child. So when I wanted to babysit for my friend who has had CPS called on her and who also has a case worker, I was asked by her CPS case worker if I had a CPS Recored. I said no. But she looked me up and told my friend that I did have a CPS record of child indangerment. I do not remember ever having anyone call me or come out to investigate that. So I called CPS and told them what this case worker had said about me and they looked me up and found nothing on me. So I do not have a CPS recored.
