        Faulty Charges

        I recently stayed at Fairfield Inn in Fenton, Missouri while visiting Six Flags with my husband. I am told not to bash a business but rather tell "how the business could have made your experience better." Therefore, they could have certianly started by not attempting to charge their customers for things that they should not. Such as smoking in their rooms. Yes, I am a smoker, but I respect the rules of a non-smoking facility (which is why we smoked outside by the ashtrays all nite). I however do not respect pictures being taken of a wet pack of cigarettes (from our visit to Six Flags the previous day) strewn across a desk bent and broken and being called smoked cigarette butts. While I did leave those wet packs in the room, the cigarettes were inside of the packs and in the trash can when I left that morning. To sum this up, I would never stay there again, I would never suggest this hotel to any other person, especially military, from the way that we were treated. I would suggest to the hotel to at least send pictures of actual smoked cigarette butts in attempt to make me pay the $250 charge or to grow some morals and not corrupt the world any more that it already is. Also as far as the Marriot chain goes, I would suggest to them to make an alternative route to voice problems other than only having the option to deal with the hotel your specifically have a problem with in case the problem is WITHIN that hotel itself.
