Jo An Japanese Restaurant

First visit to Joan based on a coworkers recommendation. I think he was pulling a prank...



I won't lie, The food was good. At least the part of my order that I actually received was good. Will never know about the rest.



Ambiance? none



Service? Pathetically bad. I cannot remember ever having worse service anywhere in the US or Europe.



From extremely slow service at lunchtime, to forgetting half of my order I was pretty disappointed. Factoring in charging me for what was not delivered, and then charging automatic gratuity pushed it beyond a bad experience. Factor in the fact that the server did not bother to return my change and it has gone to unforgivable.



Was it too much to ask for the six of us to be served at the same time? Or maybe to be served before half of the group had finished eating? Maybe offer to refill our drink?



Needless to say if you want a pleasant Japanese dining experience near Florence KY I highly recommend giving Miyoshi a try.
