I am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration and live sitar and tabla music and buffet setup we loved it all. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding.The customer service was great.

This restaurant, its owner and staff are second to none. It serves the best Indian food I have found in America - and believe me I have been searching long and hard for authentic, high quality Indian food since arriving on these shores in 1995. The dining experience is top notch - we are made to feel like one of the family. For anyone new to Indian food, the owner or his staff will be more than happy to guide you through the menu and make recommendations to suit your palate. We always make a reservation because it is a very popular eatery - and quite right too!! We have taken friends to this restaurant who are not Indian food fanatics like my husband and I but once they have eaten here, they realise that the Indian food they have had at other restaurants is just an Americanized version of curry, and they don't want to go back to the more expensive Indian restaurants that can be found in Bergen County. We order extra so we have food to take home to satisfy our cravings!!!

This place has great food at affordable prices. I work in the area and I go there for lunch often because they have a great buffet with plenty of food to choose from. The atmosphere is also great due to the service. A first class place to eat.
