Blu Note AV Home Theater and Specialty Audio

I love movies and always have, so when I finally decided to put together my dream home theater I could not have been more exited. I found Blu Note and the Denver Home and Garden show and from the moment I talked to them I knew they would take the best care of me. I have dealt with many AV companies over the years and they never seam to listen to me. Blu note does! They put together a solution for me within my budget (which they were very up front in asking about) and I am very impressed with my end result. The process was both quick and a pleasure. The communication was great and they stayed on time and on budget. I recommend them to everyone.

Hats off to the guys at blu note! Music and Movies are very important to my wife and I and we were very impressed with an experience that we did not find compared in any way to what we had found over the past few months as we explored the options at various other stores in the Denver area. We spent allot of time with blu notes competitors and found that blu note hands down attended to our individual needs and actually listened which was very refreshing. We found no one in the market was as willing to spend the time to develop a solution focused on our needs that ended up being a perfect fit for our family. The installation went very smoothly and was completed on time and most importantly fulfilled exactly what was promised. We have already referred blu note to several of our friends and would encourage anyone interested in Home Theater & Audio to give the folks at blu note a visit we know you will be surprised by their approach and willingness to spend the time. I originally came across Blu Note AV at the Denver Home and Garden show and was very impressed with their display. After talking to Brandon I was blown away by his knowledge and expertise on a variety of subjects. I have always loved both music and film and his passion came through right away. We went over my wants, needs and budget and he put together a theater room that makes me smile every time I think about it. We did a projection screen , full surround and have it all set up to a very easy to control system I run through my IPAD. I was thrilled with my dealings with Blu Note start to finish. I do recommend them to everyone I know and will continue to upgrade my system through them in the future.

Avoid Blu Note Audio, they will say anything to seal the deal.After shaking on a deal, paying in full in cash and issuing a receipt for new speakers with trade-in, the owner renegged and wanted to charge an extra $1000! Being held to ransom (wanting music in the house for the holidays), I agreed to the increase based on delivery within 2 weeks - when all other dealers stated they could have obtained by shipment within 2 DAYS. Continuous phone calls to Blu Note (re: delivery) were left unreturned and unanswered. After 2 weeks had passed, I was finally able to communicate my frustration to the owner's assistant - followed up by a call from the owner who stated the speakers would arrive in 2 days - and that I would have to pay for the shipping costs ON TOP OF all other costs. I managed to receive a tracking number and due to increment weather, FedEx comp'ed the shipping charges due to late delivery. When all was said and done - I noted from the tracking number Blu Note Audio had shipped

They are more concerned with getting paid than customer service. Have your checkbook ready, you will need it, also plan on being way over budget. Arghh

I came into Blu Note as a curious walk-in. Being both a musician and a sound engineering student, I cannot stress how unquestionably important superb audio is in my life. There were systems catering towards smaller, residential home audio, larger set ups for more fine tuned main room quality and finally commercial/studio based rigs that offered pristine amplification with flat response speakers perfect for project and mixing studios. It's a modern trend in musical recording and listening to have home studios of a smaller nature venture into the mainstream. More and more albums are being listened to and recorded in small-medium spaces. With choice set ups like the super small ATC flat response speakers, Blu Note recognizes the importance of having power and immaculate clarity in equally small equipment. Do not get me wrong, there's plenty of power and decor in larger speakers like the Colorado made Avalon Time, but versatility seems to be the name of the game here.

As an engineer, I know that accurate sound reproduction is a detailed process, but so sweet when the efforts are made. My wife and I, who is a professional singer, listen to music for hours and hours every day.It is an investment in a lifestyle. We've been upgrading our system with these folks for ten years now to have the sounds we always wanted. With this, there is no better group that Blu Note for understanding what is the best product for any price range. They have an ear, and depth of product lines that few share in the world of audio. Whether it is top of the top with Avalon, Meridian, Jeff Rowlands, and Cardas Cable... or the Best Cost Effective System with Paradigm and Marantz, Blu Note has the best products for the money for any budget out there. Like I tell all the friends that I've sent their way.... "Decide on how much you want to spend, then Blu Note will put you into the best products for your budget." Period.

aka. "Blu Note Design". The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Exceeded initial budget by 20% and install took 3 weeks longer than they said it would. They never call back on follow up issues. Overall an extremely poor experience. I deeply regret using this company and caution others against using them. They are swift with the sale and thats where it ends. After they get the last check you can count on never hearing back from them and zero response to your follow up queries. Promises of warranty support is baseless. Be warned, there are plenty of other home theatre companies in the Denver area offering the same products but backing that with good customer service.

Probably the worst in customer service I've ever come across. They are completely non-responsive and are only worried about the sale and collecting payment. I'm convinced that the only reason my install was ever completed is because I held final payment until the end. The owner/salesman made countless empty promises. I was provided used equipment that has since failed to which my calls have never been returned. I would encourage anyone to avoid this company at all costs. The total lack of respect I was shown is appalling.
