Andrew Loizeaux PC

My name is Will and I have three boys; ages 16, 13, and 12. At one point in the PRE report, Loizeaux refers to me as "Derrick" and having a daughter named "Addison". This section was obviously cut and pasted from another report and, in itself, should have been grounds for the judge to throw this report out. I wonder how many other portions of his report were boiler-plated? For $20K, I deserved a much more professional effort than this.

This is not a case of sour grapes... The judge was able to read between the lines of his bogus report and award me 50/50 custody.

My only reason for writing this is to hopefully grab the attention of other parents who are going through a divorce and are considering using Dr. Loizeaux as a PRE. Think twice before you dump your $20,000 in his pocket. I believe there are many other PRE’s available who are much more professional, compassionate and truly act on the kids best interest, not their own.

Loizeaux and Associates performed a supplemental PRE for my family. The first PRE psychologist did all interviews, home visits, and psychological testing himself. He spent over 4 months with my family and contacted all of our references. In contrast, Dr. Loizeaux put together a report full of typographical errors in 6 weeks. He never even called my children's counselor that had been working with them for a year through the difficult divorce. As a parent, you are asked to fill out extensive questionnaires and narratives for the process. This is essential. Loizeaux stated that he doesn't review these until the end of the process, but it was obvious in his report that he didn't look at them. In my second of 2 interviews with him, he came in to the office saying that he had just arrived from court, and that he didn't have any time to review the case so "fill him in". You and your kids are observed behind glass with microphones in the ceiling as his associates scribble notes about you. He calls judges by their first name and it was obvious that he's just part of the Denver "machine". PREs are very costly and sometimes necessary for your kids, but this is not an individual that I recommend for your family's sake. In the end, it was a negative psychological experience for my kids relative to the first PRE.

I believe Dr. Loizeaux wrote an unfair report.
