I purchased a 2016 New Honda Accord Sport Seden on June 4, 2016 from Delray Honda. Past purchases from other dealers had made me terrified, rather even traumatized, of entering a car dealership. I relayed my fears and needs to Salesman Mark Melnick, Internet Director Jason Hopkins, and General Sales Manager Al Benjamin. They promised that my out the door cost as quoted via email would be honored, and that I would not be harassed about extraneous contracts and warranties, which was a fear of mine. They not only kept their promise and worked as a team to ensure my transaction was smooth, the out the door cost ended up a little less than quoted.
Excellent transaction and I would recommend Delray Honda to anyone.

The service department tried to talk me into $5k in repairs that I did not need. I took my 2003 Element here because it overheated. The mechanics told me that the radiator fans were bad and when it overheated, it blew the radiator and head gasket. They told me there was no point in replacing the head gasket because of the age of the car. They said I needed to replace the engine and radiator and fans. I was skeptical about the diagnosis since the overheating was the only problem I had with the car, so I decided to get a second opinion.
Thank god I did. I took it to an independent mechanic who took the engine apart and couldn't find anything wrong with it or the radiator. The only thing I needed replaced were the radiator fans. I had him do that and the car runs great. I've had it back for a week and even drove it to Orlando without a problem. Delray Honda either employs the most incompetent mechanics on the planet or they are cheerfully ripping people off. I would not trust them to diagnose an oil change and will never do business with them again.

I recently moved to Florida from NY and your dealership surpassed them in all areas of service. From the service person who took the initial information for my car to Richard coming out to introduce himself and take me to his service desk and the cashier at the end of the service, all were professional and made me feel welcome as a customer. Your lounge and amenities are also better than those in NY and make the wait more pleasant. Thank you.

The courtesy van is a nice perk. It allowed me to continue my day without losing time waiting for my vehicle to be serviced.

Both Art and Richard Douglas were excellent in helping me understand the issue and in fixing the problem. I have been a customer of Delray (formerly Sherwood) Honda for more than 11 years and I have always been treated professionally and honestly. Please continue to do great work.

As always, Todd Fanning was a great help in explaining my car's needs and overseeing the work. Over the years he has treated me fairly and professionally. I would also like to commend the service technician who worked on the car. It is now running better than ever thanks to these individuals. They are a great asset to your team.
