Motor City Towing

Had a flat and needed the tire changed, however, the supervisor of the company called the tow truck driver and bullied him to leave. The tow truck driver was hard working and diligent but unable to change the tire due to upper management pressure to tow it instead of changing​ it. Management of this company is unpleasant to their own staff and customers.

Called to have them tow my 1972 Corvette. The car has a tow hook on the front end to do nothing other than tow via winch or rope. He says to me that he wants to attach a hook to the frame and pull it up that way you would a junker. I showed him the tow hook and said that this is what this is for. This guy proceeds to tell me that he has "10 years experience" of which he later changed to "5 years experience..." I would not trust this company to tow anything. I can 100% see why they have such poor reviews. ALL OF IT IS TRUE! The way he was wanting to tow this classic car makes me think that he has no experience. I would not trust them to anything!

Sent the information to Facebook about how unhappy I am and the runaround I am getting. A senior citizen on a fixed income has to suffer the damage because of it

A screw-up between the toe company and AAA left me almost stranded with a tow that somehow cancelled. Im monster who's fault it was, but they more than made up for it.
The driver was resent and arrived within minutes. He apologized for any problems that caused me to wait unnecessarily. The driver was courteous, professional, and friendly. A really cool guy that I had a great conversation with on the way home. When I got home, he squeezed my car into a tight spot in the driveway per my request and helped me push it closer to the garage. No small task for a classic 63 Mercury Monterey.
I'll definitely keep their number handy if I break down in Detroit or around Dearborn again.

The driver towed my car to the mechanic, left with my keys, I called him 10 min later, and he said it would be an hour because he was on route to another job. It took them 4 hours to drop off my keys. I called the manager Sam and he didn't care. Horrific customer service, stay away. AAA even dropped their contract.
