Clinic Halifax Orthopedic

Every time I went in I had a different co-pay, now that I'm on disability do to a job related injury Met Life has my claim on hold saying I owe Halifax and until they are paid they're refusing to release any information. I paid for every visit, all documents, and $20 for my x rays which my insurance paid for I sure. They've now come up with $11.26 of charges over a year later. They're billing department isn't consistent, they are contracted with insurance companies to charge a flat fee when coming in and the rest is billed to the insurer next. I wasn't treated in ths manner and questioned it several times, particularly once while my fiance was with me because I had no balance. Her being a claims analyst she asked how do I have no balance, well of course we go another bogus excuse but after being grilled by my fiancé the lady in billing admitted I was overcharged. I asked that I be released from this clinics care due to its inconsistency. I had to pay extra for disability paperwork to be filled out and my x rays but still ended up owing. Be careful!!!
