One word to define this auction house - CORRUPT.

If you are considering doing business with this organization, have money fronted prior to releasing your items, or WALK AWAY.

I've dealt, on faith, with consignment shops before, and all went well. So I put faith into this organization. Mark and Naomi's facade was very accommodating, naturally, until it was time to pay.

They've signed contracts to sell hundreds of model trains - cars/engines, which brought in many buyers and thousands of dollars. But when time came to send my money, they played the ‘check is going out’ routine and went as far as to change phone numbers.

Again, they are sweet-as-pie to lure you in, and tell you whatever you want to hear. But when it is time to cut a check, look out!

Hmm, maybe that’s why Mark’s a fast talker.

I posted this review to WARN YOU, than to just get out any frustration.

Get your money first! If they tell you payment upfront is not their policy, FIND ANOTHER AUCTION HOUSE.

I may be repeating myself, but I can’t stress enough how unethical these people are.

Lastly, check BBB website under New England Toy Train Exchange and see the billing complaints. Consignees waiting 6,7,8 months on a 3 month term. And NETTE’s excuse is still awaiting payment. An easy crutch to lean on.
