Awesome Customer Service and reasonable prices!! When other companies were too busy to accomodate us, they made the time to address our emergency lockout, and as a result, I have used them a few times for my company to unlock and re-key our offices. They ALWAYS provide excellent, timely service! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a locksmith.

I was very impressed by the prompt and professional response that Jay gave my husband and myself in installing a new doorknob and deadbolt system in our home. I just had Jay out to rekey the locks to my new house. Not only did he do what I had asked him out here for but he also gave me some valuable advice on how to make my home more secure. I would highly recommend A-Tri-County lock for any of your needs around the house. Jay came and did an extremely good, as well as efficient job of replacing hardware on one of our doors, and re-keying several other doors and deadbolts. Jay worked very hard to stay within my budget, and even went out of his way to drill some additional holes and insert some screws to help support the door hinges, which I didn't even realize needed to be done. He was very thorough, and worked with my best interests in mind.

I had the ignition cylinder in my Ford Focus lock up, a common problem, and tried to drill it out myself after finding a tutorial on the internet. After breaking a few drill bits and making a general mess, I decided it would be best to call a locksmith to finish the job. Calling around, I was trying to find the lowest price, since I'd planned to do it myself and had the new part ready to install. When I talked to Jay on the phone, he was very familiar with the situation and gave me a very reasonable price compared to the others I was getting. I met him at my car and stayed while he did it. He was completely professional, quick, and courteous. He even put the new part in for me AND vacuumed all of the metal shavings from my floor and cup holder! As if this wasn't enough, Jay proposed to help me even further. Since my car was not at home, I had driven my mom's car to meet him. So that I would have both cars at home ready to go the next morning, Jay hopped in my car and followed me back, with his assistant trailing in the van. On top of all this, he charged me not a penny more than the price he told me on the phone. Jay completely exceeded any expectations I had for a locksmith, and I am very glad I called him. I suggest that anyone reading this does too.

We had a recent break-in and needed to fix the lock on our side door. Due to the wear and tear, we weren’t sure if a new door was needed. Jay came out on a cold snowy evening and without hesitation went to work on it, saving us the cost of a new door and its installation. Besides replacing the doorknob and lock, he took the door off its hinges and re-hung it so the alignment was better, repaired the molding around the doorway, and reinforced the lock with a metal plate so it couldn’t be jimmied.

As he worked he explained exactly what he was doing and why. It’s hard to find a tradesman nowadays, who takes such pride in his work. Thanks to Jay, we feel completely secure – and the cold air doesn’t seep thru the cracks anymore.

I am a young single woman who just bought her first house. The seller only gave me one key which only opened one of the 4 doors to my house and garage. I wanted the locks changed ASAP for fear that there were keys to my house floating around in dishonest hands. I found Tri-County on here and read their reviews and gave them a call. He was very polite and told me they would come out and help me as soon as they could. He came out only a couple hours later (pretty good considering how late it was) quoted me a fair price, which he stuck to, and did the work quickly. My locks work a lot smoother then before.
