Great Staff - nice people. Been boarding here for over 20 years - nowhere else that I would board my dogs.

Was not pleased with the amount of urine I had to wash from around my dogs paws and legs when I picked him up. He smelt like a farm goat! That's a clear sign that the kennel run was dirty! I'll return only as an absolute last resort. Staff was nice.

This was the first time I boarded my dog at Rockdale Kennel. NEVER AGAIN!!! He normally goes to Camp Paradise Pet Resort on Smyrna Rd 5 star but because of a last minute family emergency, they were unable to take him. Dropped my dog off June 11th - June 22nd. The day of pick up, Nancy told me that my dog had diarrhea and had pooped all over himself and his bed. She also told me that he had severe face rubbing (which he has never done). His entire nose was raw, pink with swollen knots on both sides and bleeding. I asked why wasn't I contacted, she said it was non emergency and they don't normally contact unless its an emergency. My yorkie was filty, stinky and miserable... The least that should have been done was to clean the diarrhea from his feet, stomach, etc.... instead, She offered to release him to me in that condition. I am so glad that I got to my yorkie in time and not have him suffer another day/night at this place.... I would recommend this place to a lost dog!!!!!

i have boarded my 2 dogs there several times...and it was pleasant. but the last time - in June, both my dogs came home with some sort of parasite infection on their skin (on their back) and crusty ears! i felt bad for my dogs for having some sores! their beds were filthy and smelly when i got them - unlike what they told me that they will either wash or put it up when not in use. very disappointed. Nancy and Gary are good owners but I don't think the young people that they had hired during summer took care of my dogs like they promised. switching to another kennel with more responsible dog handlers!

I have taken my dogs to Rockdale Kennels and my dogs are taken such great care. Nancy and Gary the owners keep the kennel spotless always clean the staff is nice and care about your pets. I have since moved from Ga.my dogs miss them, they are the Best!!
