McKinney Door & Hardware

Poor, poor, Jeff Daniels. I guess you're lucky to even find the place let alone the front door. (Maybe your seeing eye dog was having an off day!!) I have been trading with this establishment for over 2 years now and have NOTHING bad to say about all of by visits there. (Probably at least once a week.) Dawn, behind the "bullet proof glass," and Ron and Brittany behind the counter are the absolute BEST. All the guys in the back are some of the friendliest and most competent of their trades. Would never trade anywhere else. Maybe this Jeff guy needs to stay on his side of town............

I had a specialized piece of door hardware I needed to replace and drove across town to McKinneys to ask for help. Myself and another customer arrived at what appeared to be the front door, ie the most accessible, to find it locked with a sign telling us it was for employees only and to go to the South entrance. I'm not sure anyone had a compass out when they made that sign..... but if you're feeling like throwing the dice, the entrance is on the South East, as apposed to the South West. Its also through all the barbed wire security fence as apposed to the South West entrance which is on the street, next to all the parking. So lets say you make it into the foyer, as we did, here's what to expect. In the far left corner a woman sits behind bullet proof glass while the man at the desk next to you types emails, every nod of his head (while he types at least .25 words an hr) you watch expectantly, hoping it will bounce just high enough for him to see you....... as he is clearly deaf.........or the worst customer service rep since the guy at Enron said, "yes, this company is a great investment"Well I can only hope McKinneys owners don't go the way of Enrons and enjoy their cash, they clearly have so much of it they don't need mine, nor yours.
