I agree with you Heather this company or partnership or proprietorship. It all depends on when you look at the ownership paperwork. It's been changed numerous times in order to hide the ownership along with what seems to be used as a way to rip off people in our community and gullible so called partners. Or better yet front man. The owner a john stellabotte, if you look at the information below you will see that he is so ignorant that he thinks by change the "&" to " and " this will change his liability so that people like me who want to seek legal action against him overlook the switching of company ID number that's received from the attorney generals office. So for years he's been allowed to freely use this loop hole to disregard his responsibilities and gouge, steal, and without any respect for the law runs a criminal enterprise, that is well know to detectives in the C.S.P.D. without any consequent. How do I know this I spoke with a detective "M.B." who is aware of these acts. So please share this information with the rest of the community. And stop this cancer that has been allowed to spread in this great state. Oh yeah, he's also the regional President of the Pikes Peak chapter of the T.R.P.C. the governing body of Towing. So it make you wonder if he over sees other towing companies. So what the hell are they doing if he's so dirty how honest can the rest of the bunch be. One more thing don't allow them to fix your car, or you may rind up like me. Have any engine changed and have no paperwork to know what the spec's are and be at a lost. Negative stars, if it were an option. Truck parked in a parking lot for less than 2 hours to go have breakfast. Come back to find truck missing. After locating towing company, was told that charge of $274 to retrieve vehicle that was towed without cause or authorization. $209 for the tow, and a charge to have someone come meet us at the shop. Arrived at the shop to find that employees were already on site, yet charge was still added. Obviously employees were already out on the road, scouting for money pits, yet they charge an after hours fee. No one called on this vehicle, they were waiting for it and any one else to fall into their trap. Any modest company has a flat rate, and much cheaper one, as opposed to being bent over for a vehicle that was not at all abandoned or even left for 24 hours. This company is a rip off, and somehow thinks that charging any average person $300 to retrieve a vehicle is how to run a business. This should be illegal, and this white trash business and their towers should be stopped. Support your local crooks, feel free to call J&J towing for yout towing needs.
