Dr. Craig Allen Stasio, DC

I am a 42 year old male who has had many visits to Dr. Stasio. He was in no way unprofessional nor did he push any religion on me. When I spoke to him about the christian music (he, having no idea who am or that I have been a christian for 20 years) was open and very nice. He never asked me to attend any meetings of his own, or churches. He never said anything about religion that I haven't heard a dozen other christian pastors teach on Sunday or anything you cannot just find written already in the bible. The Fox 2 Report is nothing more than an attack on regular christian beliefs. I do not belong to his so called group in any way and thought people needed to hear some actual customer opinions.

I've been going for 8 years to his offices they have been nothing but professional I will miss both the massage and the adjustments

Been going to both places for years, must have had over 50 massages, very reasonable prices, most of the workers are 25-35 years old not kids like the news reported, I have nothing but good things to say, they have a picture of Jesus in the Lobby and they play Christian music, therapist seemed happy and well adjusted, some where married with even kids of their own, I'm very sorry they have been put out of business. I guess attacking Christianity is still fair game, you know if it was any other religion the News wouldn't cover it with a ten foot pole !!

NEWS FLASH....check out the news stories aboutthis place. There is more than bad business practices going on here. He is stealung more than money......he is taking young women away from their families.....brain washing is the term. This is not a joke. If this is going on.....just imagine what else is happenibg behind closed doors. EWARE parents and young women. THIS MAN IS A CRIMINAL IN THE WORST WAY. he is using the name of God to cover his dusgusting bahavior....oreying on young innocent women. God only knows what else this creep is doing.

Got 10 gift certificates that 'never expire'. His Warren office closed, but they did honor 1 certificate at their other office on Hoover in Clinton Township. (Lousy massage by the way.) Then the next time I wanted to go back, it was still the same business...but they "do not accept these certificates". Sounds like FRAUD to me! He should not be allowed to just 'change his mind' about honoring these certificates that, apparently, thousands of which were sold. I'm sure that everyone who's taken the time to write a bad review are more than willing to file a class-action suit against this swindler. Once word gets out, I'm sure there are many more that will jump on the bandwagon to take this guy to court & (hopefully) get our money back before he spends it all! It's not worth my time & effort to go after 'Dr. Shyster', but I DO hope that that guy who spent $700 on certificates calls Fox 2 news. We should all get reimbursed + gratuity!!!

Extremely tired from playing five nights straight with my band and was looking forward to a deep tissue massage! I knew that I had 8 gift certificates left from Stasio and was excited! When I called they told me that this business closed suddenly and reopened under another name and would not honor my gift certificates! Please think about this before you decide to get a massage there, a business should not be run like this! All I wanted is what I paid for! I hope Mr. Stasio reads this and changes the wrong that has been done!

Dr. Stasio, is a man of God??? Great preacher! I bought over $700.00, in certificates to support the message school & in return enjoy some massages. This man does need to be fully prosecuted for fraud! The 90 minute messages I purchased were honored on & off again, when he was on Hoover??? My friend & I both went to Agate, had 1 message & that was the last one they honored & said he does not own this anymore when we call. Funny the last day I was there, they told me he sold the Hoover location & is just going to be running this one. If anyone knows how to get back all of our money he stole please let me know, I am more then happy to go after the so call man of God!

At Stasio Clinic in Warren I bought 10 massages certificates $275 but NEVER used because clinic said they were renovating building and now it is closed down. I saw a lease and sell sign and asked if they were moving BEFORE I bought certificates and they lied and said no. He had Christian pictures and music all over so I believed them. What better way to hide. No expiration date on certificates and it says can be used at both clinics, warren and clinton twp. Dr Craig Stasio also owned or owns clinic in Clinton twp which is now named Agape and I called them. They said they bought the business and are not affiliated with Dr Craig Stasio but I think they are. Called my credit card company. They will work on this fraud. Will also report to bbb and everyone else I can.

Update 3/31/2013:

I have 9 deep tissue massage certificates that they will not honor. What I said last October was true, but now the place is refusing them and "Jay" the phone person is rude. I was able to use one certificate in January and was told they would honor all of them. I don't blame the massage people, but blame Stasio, who still owns Agape.

The massages are great. If you buy special discount gift certificates, it's a wonderful bargain. Each time I've been there (10 in the last 2 years), I've been well treated.



I get deep tissue massages and I can tell them if they are too rough or too light and they adjust. When I wanted focus on my neck and shoulders, they focused on that.



Each time I've gotten a different therapist and each one was unique. None were bad. I'm looking for a massage, not a paradise spa.



As for conversation I have never be preached to. I have just relaxed and not talked and I have talked with the therapist. I've discussed health, sports, gardening, the weather, and other conversational topics. I always give feedback regarding the massage. When the deep tissue is too intense, I let them know.



As for tipping I feel $5 or $10 depending of each situation.



These therapists spend an entire hour with physical work, so they deserve a tip.



The appointments are made on Tuesdays for the week. You can ask for a particular therapist and you can request male or female. There is a large staff that give you a large choice.

see other reviews, I also lost my certificates (4 of them) that I brought and was told the certificates will always be good. Just 2 months ago I was told no expiration date. Do not trust this company.

This company is not honest, and does not care about anyone but them self and getting money dishonestly.

Like others here, I have certificates that are no longer accepted. When I went for a massage in January I specifically asked how long the Stasio certs would be honored, and was told "forever". Now it's 2 months later and they've gone back on their word. When I went in person to talk about this, I got a very unhelpful worker, and when I asked to speak to the owner I was told "he said he won't talk to anyone about this matter." Very poor customer relations.

Dr. Stasio moved his Warren office to Clinton Twp.

This new location will not accept your pre-paid massage certificates. Dr. Stasio robbed many of his massage clients out of hundreds of dollars by not allowing us to use our pre-paid gift certificates (that had NO EXPIRATION DATES). If Dr.Stasio cheated you also in this same way, be sure to file a complaint with the BBB.

He should not be allow to "rob" us in this way. Also call, FOX 2 Problem Solvers, and other TV news stations to file a complaint. Please don't let him get away with taking our money. I'm sure there are lots of pre-paid, unused certificates out there. WE WANT OUR MONEY BACK OR WE WANT TO BE ABLE TO USE OUR PRE-PAID CERTIFICATES!!!!

HE CLOSED THE BUSINESS, REOPENED UNDER A NEW NAME---AGAPE CHIROPRACTIC---AND NOW WILL NOT HONOR THESE. PLUS HE STILL WORKS THERE!!!! WHAT A WAY TO DEFRAUD THE COMMUNITY!!! p.s. I wouldn't have even given it a one star rating, but I had to choose at least a one. THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS!

NOTE TO AGAPE- Why don't you think of the customer FIRST, and honor these certificates!!

Do not go here, they went out of business but Dr stasio really opened another business under the name agape and wont honor your gift certificates.

You get what you pay for. The massages are decent, but the atmosphere is anything but relaxing. The music is very loud and it is not the of a relaxing type. I asked for it to be changed and the therapist said they were required to play that music at that volume. I will let my certificates run out and then I will go elsewhere.

This was a really good substitute for my normal deep tissue massage therapist who had shoulder surgery. I love the boldness of God that they speak of and to be honest, none said anything until I asked questions. They are a part of the body of Christ that I love and so creative. Each of us has a different part of the body of Christ and we all cannot deliver the same message. A+ for the delivery of the message! For those who don't like it, good thing there are other therapists that can meet your needs. I for one bought a couple of packages and I will be returning. Kudos!!

I couldn't wait to go for the massage with my daughter. It was a great price. As soon as I got there the therapist started talking about god and I had better leave my church because they are demons ( I'm baptist) as I am listening to him I'm wondering if this is just his belief or the companys. So I ask him and he said it was Dr Stasio's and gods.He also told me that everyone there believes this. I was thinking I am here for a wonderful massage and he is talking the whole time telling me how their beliefs are the right way. He is condeming me for my religion??? I ask my daughter if they preached to her also she said yes, but not saying if she doesn't stop going to her church she would go to hell.No I won't go back they have no right to judge me. ONLY GOD does.
