Art Van Furniture

Was told my order would be shipped direct and would be delivered before Christmas. Still haven't received it and looks like it won't be here before New Years. Was told it would be here mid Feb when I called last week. Now, they said Mid Jan. Not impressed! 8 weeks for "special" delivery! Two bar stools! That to me is crazy and I would have gone somewhere else if I was told it would have taken that long. I paid up front for something I have to wait 2-3 months for! The biggest furniture store around and this is the best they can do! Pitiful! Plus there $100.00 delivery charge for anything they deliver is outrageous. I purchased a recliner and was charged $100. For delivery. For one recliner! I was told I could get a house full off furniture and be charged the same price.... not really a good answer. It actually ticked me off more! Plus I had to wait 3 weeks for that!!! I don't know Art Van... I may take my business elsewhere from now on. The salesman was nice, though. At least they have that going for them. All three stars are for him. One star for selection because they didn't have much of a in house selection.

This store ordered me the wrong pieces for my sectional TWO TIMES!!!!!! When I asked if I could return two of the pieces because it was too big I had to pay a 15% restocking fee. I suggested they wave that fee due to the incompetence of the salesperson and needing to take an additional day off work. The store refused and did not even apologize, just said the guy was new! I purchased my bedroom set, bar, and previous couches from this store. Will not be returning!!!!!!!!!!!

Every piece of furniture from Art Van has fallen apart within the first year! Beds, couches, mattresses, just horrible poorly built furniture. Don't waste ur money!

Better not expect the stain treament to actually be applied just because you pay for it. I paid for it. Water absorbs. Doesn't roll off. Called them. They had me do this test. Failed. None of my new furniture was treated even though I paid for it. Now I'd have to get it cleaned, then treated. I have spoken with past employees of Art Van who told me be careful. They don't always treat the fabric when you buy the treatment. Afterall, how does anyone know until your furniture is stained?
