Menards

If you Like Home Depot and Lowe’s, you will Love Menard’s! And you can even pick up that gallon of milk so you won’t have to make another stop:



Their selection of Everything for Your Home is amazing and the prices an excellent. Appliances, Electrical, Fasteners (in user friendly package size), Hardware, Home Decor, Lumber, Plumbing, Patio Furniture, Tools, etc. abound in variety. Everything the sell is of quality but is valued priced.



For example, I was looking for a replacement bathroom exhaust fan. I didn’t find anything right anyplace suitable at a reasonable price. I really did not want to spend $100 for a quiet fan. However, the one I wanted was available at Menard’s and was on sale for only $25 and they had the kit I needed to properly vent it through the roof was on the shelf.



I also needed lumber to make a picture frame for an odd sized new picture of our puppy. Elsewhere, I would have had to purchase 2 pieces of Unfinished 8’ long Common Pine for about $20. At Menard’s I found 1 piece of Already Sanded 10’ Quality Cedar for under $3. Ryder (our Yellow Labrador) really didn’t care about how much his new frame cost as long as it made him look good. I just love ‘Tail Wagger; Tail Wagger’ situations.



Our new Menard’s is located next door to a Super Wal-Mart. I think Menard’s has more square footage. Between the two stores we can get just about anything we need. Menard’s doesn’t sell ‘fashion’, but I did buy work gloves at Menard’s because they were on 25 cents per pair.



Menard’s are currently located in the North-Central part of the U.S.A., but look out word… here they come! : )
