Precision Tune Auto Care replaced an alternator on my car and 6 months later the alternator is out again!

I already had an issue with them unplugging some wires without putting them back properly when they replaced the alternator, I went to another mechanic that found the issue and fixed it.
I went back to Precision Tune Auto Care and asked for that bill to be covered, they refused

My advice, STAY AWAY from Precision Tune Auto Care, they are not honest and did a miserable job.

Don't bother commenting below, I will not call you or stop by for you to fix your mistake again. This new alternator is going to cost me $900 with labor but at least I know it will be installed properly.

Often in life you get what you paid for, there are tons of other options on South Boulevard, read up comments and study online a little bit before leaving your car to a mechanic, I wish I did.

Precision Tune is a fantastic place to take your car. I have never felt like they were trying to inflate the price on me or tell me there were things I didn't need. Quite the opposite in fact: they frequently bundle things to give me discounts when I need multiple repairs (at my request, not their suggestion), and show me in person the parts that are warped or damaged so I can see for myself. One time I had to leave my car and needed to get to work. I was going to call my coworker to come pick me up but the manager offered to personally give me a ride because he was going out that same way on an errand. I took him up on the offer and he was very polite, professional, and helpful. This is my preferred mechanic in Charlotte for sure.

This location has serviced my car several times, and the staff was very knowledgeable. However, Mr. Barnes stood out among previous staff members, as he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He explained a potential issue regarding my vehicle, in a manner that was comprehensible. I would highly recommend your organization.

It was my first visit at Precision Tune and I can gladly say I was taken care of VERY WELL and VERY satisfied with my experience. The staff was very polite, happy with the products and recommend it to all of my friends.

At my recent service I was impressed with Mike the store manager . The process from start to finish was top notch and very professional . My oil change and tire rotation were very reasonable priced and they checked my car out and let me know what was necessary for repair and routine Maintaince . thes is very important to me because I use my car for work. I would recommend this shop to any one . Thanks Mike
