Gateway Homes

Nothing but problems since we moved in - 4 years ago. Very poor workmanship in my opinion. Our 4 year old townhome building has already suffered Major Structural Damage. Gateway provides a 10-year structural warranty, however it is only if you home is inhabitable, according to the warranty company. An end unit in our building actually started sliding down the hill by a retention pond, and pulled our unit down with it. After much back and forth the end unit was covered under the warranty, but they will not cover our unit nor all the damage it did, including separation from the building, and the floor damage. Gateway will not do anything. Engineers believe the soil wasn't properly compacted, nor proper drainage done under the units and that our entire building could still be at risk.
