Avalon Spa and Nails

My regular salon was closed so I decided to give this one a try. They did a horrible job and were not friendly at all.

I started going here because my old nail salon moved further away. In the process of looking I came here and I have yet to go anywhere else, Holly is my go to nail tech and she is very personable, funny and understanding! Here I don't get just my nails done, we just talk away. Also, when anyone else comes in they know who they are and there is a huge professionalism. The prices are reasonable and they massage your arms or legs after each service. I swear it feels amazing!!! Please don't get this place confused with the other nail salon in the arboretum (VIP nails) because that place is completely different and they rush you over there. Avalon nails is the place to be!

Please, don't ever go there!! I've had such a terrible experience!! Greedy mean staff, not polite... I wish I would read other reviews before I went there!! They charges me 55$ while the sign said 35$ special on man/ pedicure... After I questioned why, I was yelled at and given a credit card slip to be signed... I said that that's not how customer service should work and said that I will never come back.. You know what all these mean unfriendly staff told me?? " don't come" ... I asked for an owner name - they didn't give it to me.. No respect, manicure was horrible, pedicure still hurts after 3 days... Please don't ever go there..

This gets ZERO STARS -- they are greedy jerks. Arrived and asked how long it would be before they could take me for a mani/pedi. They said 15 minutes, it was 40. I told them I needed to be done in 45 with both and that I had an important event to go to that night. "No problem" they said. Unfortunately, they are money-grubbers rather than committed to any sort of customer service. They took 4 women, all of which arrived a minimum of 20 minutes after me, rather than do my mani simultaneous and have me out on time. After 90 minutes there, I had to leave without my nail polish, AND THEY CHARGED ME FULL PRICE!!! Who does that? I protested and the owner just yelled at the girl who worked on me in another language and I was given a receipt with no choice but to sign it. They did an awful job on what they did manage to get done in 90 minutes too. AWFUL, DON'T GO HERE.
