        Canton Township Police Department provides specialized services for maintenance of law and order in Canton, Mich. The department s accident investigations team deals with fatal accidents and injuries. Its services include evidence collection, photography, talking to witnesses, and blood and alcohol tests. The department s motor carrier unit enforces state trucking laws and local ordinances, and cites overweight vehicles and educates commercial vehicle operators about potential hazards. Its record bureau is responsible for statistical data entry of crime and accident reports, processing paperwork for weapon permits, and provides copies of police and fire reports to the general public. It also comprises a bicycle patrol unit, K-9 unit, evidence technician and special enforcement units. It also offers honor guard services at funerals, and conducts training sessions for the general public. Canton Township Police Department is a member of the Western Wayne Special Operations Team, Western Wayne Criminal Investigations, and Western Wayne Community Response Team.

        Overall

        Childish and unprofessional. They went out of their way to guide me in the wrong direction. I made a complaint about Officer Green and the Livonia police department so they stick together and made it difficult for me today at the Liberty Festival. So pitiful!

        This is the WRONG number, the real number is 734-394-5400. If you call 394-5186 you will get Canton's Downtown Development Authority which has NOTHING to do with the Police Department.
