158 Main Restaurant & Bakery

So, even though I buy at least 4 or 5 meals per week in 158 Main, and have spent literally thousands of dollars over the last 15 or 20 years, I’ve been told by the owner that I spend too much time in there just reading my book. I have always moved or left if someone needs my spot. I have taken my plate of food to the worktable outside the kitchen numerous times so people coming in could sit together. Also apparently the waiters giving me free coffee is tantamount to stealing it, and I’m not welcome there anymore because I’m costing him too much money. If you’re going to Jeffersonville I highly recommend the Smugglers Notch Inn, The Mix and the Family Table, all of whom have made it plain that I’m welcome there 24/7.
