BP Auto

I have been using BP Auto ever since I moved to Buffalo Grove 5 years ago. I chose it first for the good reviews on the Chicago Checkbook and secondly for its convenience. What a good choice! Bob, the owner, and his assistant Rob are professional and personable. I feel that I can trust them when I drop off my car and know that the work will be done correctly, in a timely fashion, and without additional costs. It means a great deal to me that I have found people who are knowledgeable and honorable.

We've been bringing our out-of-warranty vehicles to BP for many years. Bob is trustworthy, honest and reliable. We've never felt that he recommends unnecessary repairs and he always gives us an honest assessment about whether it's worth putting money into repairs for older cards.

Having driven for over 35 years and having taken an Auto Repair class (until the advent of "on board computers" I used to tune my cars; change brakes; change the oil/filter; and so forth). I have a good layman's understanding of car maintenance needs. I recently brought my car to a Midas dealer for an oil change/tire rotation and was told that I needed front & rear brakes; rotors & drums as well as front sway bar links - total estimate of $900.00. To get a "2nd" opinion, I took my car to BP Auto Inc. They agreed that I needed the front sway bar links but the front brakes should be good for at least 20,000 more miles and the rear brakes even more than that. Needless to say, BP Auto now has my business. I worked with Rob who was very personable and met the owner, Ron. They work in a crowded working environment but seem to have everything under control. They have been in business in Buffalo Grove for over 30 years. I recommend them highly!

B&P Auto has been servicing our cars for over 15 years. During that period we have experienced excellent, dependable service at reasonable prices. We have recommended them to many friends for auto service, repairs and body work. We found that B&P received a number 1 rating in Comsumers Report's Check Book publication.
