        Peaceful presence I believe massage benefits quality of life both physically. Mentally. And spiritually. It CAN improve circulation. Range of motion. Digestion. Immune function. And stress management. Massage also increases self awareness which in turn CAN promote healing. When we feel better we come alive. Treat yourself to a massage and invigorate your mind. Body. And spirit with time that’s just for YOU. DEEP tissue- AS muscles are layered deep to superficial beneath OUR skin. AT times we need to work through those layers in order to release adhesions in connective tissue. Using carefully applied pressure and assisted stretching. Pain eases while range of motion Inc.EASES. CUPPING- a suction device creates vacuum within the cups when applied to the body which helps break UP muscular tension and scar TISSUE. FOOT reflexology- based on the traditional chinese medicine belief that areas on the feet correspond to zones throughout the body. Pressure is applied to the feet to balance the BODY’S energy, a wonderful treatment for those WHO spend their work DAY standing or WALKING. LYMPHATIC- a gentle. Soothing technique useful to those interested in boosting immune function (perhaps before traveling?). Recovering from surgery. Or experiencing edema.

        While visiting friends in Wisconsin, I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Massage Therapist Julie. She is AWESOME. "Peaceful Presence" is the perfect name for her business, because that is exactly what she is...a peaceful presence. Prior to the massage, she asks all the right questions about health issues, areas of stress, etc. She is empathetic and intuitive, enabling her to hit those "just right" spots. Even better, for someone like me who is always cold, she has a HEATED pad under the massage table sheets!!!! I was cozy warm and comfortable throughout the massage. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
