Great experience. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Didn't feel rushed even though Sarah was helping several customers at the same time. Left with beautiful, properly fitting bra!

Who knew....a proper bra fit makes such a difference! Fit, look, feel - I feel like so comfortable and confident thanks to Sarah, the store manager. She did a great job explaining the hows and whys of a bra fit. I feel that I look so much better in my clothes - thanks Sarah! (And the bras are soooo pretty:-)!)

I am a slightly difficult bra size to fit, but Allure is advertised as having all sorts of options for me. I made my appointment FOUR DAYS before I went in. When I made the appointment, I was asked my bra size, and I told them. When I arrived to my appointment, I was measured (and told that yes, I did give them the correct size), and then I was told that "Her drawer for my size was looking really sparse." Which ended up meaning that there were no bras in the store in my size. Yes, it is a difficult size to fit, however, I made the appointment well in advance, and gave them my size. At the least, I would have appreciated a phone call or email informing me that they did not carry any of my size in-store before I wasted my time driving the half hour to Brookfield. Allure also advertises "working with women with mastectomies and lumpectomies," which would lead you to believe that they also worked with and sold prosthetics, however, I immediately found this to not be the case. I was referred to a medical supply company instead (I am quite uneven and was looking forward to solving that particular problem as well). In the end, I had a silicone push-up insert thrown at me, and then the lady brought in a bunch of bras and told me "Imagine this in your size. Would you like it?" She told me she could pull bras in in my size, but I thought that was why I had made my appointment early and given them my bra size when I made an appointment for the fitting. Also, she wasn't willing to pull in a variety of bras in my size. She marked down ONE of the bras that I had expressed interest in and said that they could get that one. When I went to leave, I was helpfully reminded that, "We are the only specialty bra shop in this entire part of Wisconsin," with a cheesy grin that told me even though they couldn't help me at all, they expected me to bring my service back to their store.



If you are at all a difficult size to fit, expect your visit to Allure to be ONLY a way to get measured for your bra size, because they won't have your size for you to try on, and they won't care, because as she reminded me, if you want to try on a bra, you will find a way to make the time to come back again, after they pull your size in. IF they pull your size in. I'm not planning on going back and being subjected to the same experience again, so someone else is going to have to enlighten you about that one.



Oh, and I have been to specialty bra shops before (not close to here, but that's not the point), that carry quite a large number of bras in my size and have no problem proving for me. I just thought it might be nice to find one a little closer to home, since my current option is over an hour away. It's worth the hour's drive to actually be able to try on bras in my size, be fitted for my prosthetic inserts in-store, and to be attended to in a more courteous manner.

Being a BBW always made it difficult to find a bra that fit, and that I liked. My husband heard the ad for Allure on the radio and said this might be the place to find what I needed. This store is AWESOME!!! Not only was I fitted correctly (first time in my life!), but they were so helpful. I purchased 2 bras by different manufactures because I wanted to see how they felt in a normal wearing situation. I loved them both! I have been back to purchase more, and even called the shop to order a few and have them delivered to my home b/c they did not have them in stock. AMAZING PLACE, AMAZING PEOPLE. Not any more expensive than what I normally pay for a bra ($55), got the bra I wanted, and great service. WOW. I recommend them to all of my larger breasted friends and others who have a hard time finding what they like. Keep up the good work!!!

I had the best customer service I have ever had in a retail store. Iwent in looking for a strapless bra for with a bridesmaids dress, kind of last minute. The ladies there were so knowledgable and helpful. I, like many women, was wearing the wrong size. I was measured and fitted with the perfect undergarments for my dress. The lovely ladies there then suggested a few everyday bras for me. I have to say that I have NEVER...EVER had a bra that is comfortable and proper fitting. I am considered a full figured woman in the chest. The wonderful saleswomen where as excited as I was to have found the right size for me in really beautiful bras, which those of you with"big girls", know is not an easy job. And even if you find a comfortable bra in our size, they are never pretty. These are both functional and pretty....and extremely well made. Completely worth the price! Go get the right fit for "the girls"!!

I have been to allure twice and have been very impressed both times. The first time I went there because I had a very difficult time finding bras to fit me. The only other place with my bra size was Lane Bryant-unfortunately, I was looking for something with a little more support than their bras offered. I had ordered dozens of bras online and was never happy with the fit, so I decided it was time to try Allure. The second time I went was because I had bariatric surgery and have lost a considerable amount of weight. I had no idea what size was appropriate for me anymore and I definately needed good supporting bras. Both times the staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. Both times they took their time and worked to find the best fit for me possible. I will admit, the bras can be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Having a good foundation garmet is far more important than people want to admit- especially if you are a bigger busted woman! Thank you Allure, for helping me look my best!

I went to this place after having difficulty finding the right bra and seeing the story on Real Milwaukee. Well the service is not as that the was portrayed. I was put in a room measured given some bras, I really really like one ($90 & I wanted to purchase 3) and asked for it in another color which went ignored. There had been someone there before me and another person came in while I was there and placed in a fitting room they spent their time working witih them and kept bringing me random bras tthat were not even near fitting me at all I sat for a very long time placed two phone calls and decided to go out to look around/ shop not much diplayed most everything is in drawers for their eyes only I guess. I told them I also wanted to buy spanks, to which I have never bought before, because I heard they sold and she just pointed to a corner. They continued to take care of the person that came in after me so I went to the fitting room made another phone call,the gal came in one more time to give me some bras I told her I was not interested in convertable style prior to that and she kept bringing that style...????She was really really sick and coughing all over which was unnerving being that we were in such close proximity and she was touching me and everything. . I sat there a little longer and the person that arrived after me checked out and left at that point gathered up my thing to leave, It may be because I did not look like I had money they thought I wasn't serious but, I thought that I was going to try on bras why do I need to be all done up with the clothes on and off etc. Well, I checked on line and Macy's and Nordstroms sell the bras I want and get this almost $20 less each...so, I am off to Fashion Mall to make my purchases. This wasn't part of my plan, rather inconvenient to have to arrive at my destination only to run straight to the store to buy these bras but, I guess I will make do until I get there Tuesday. Who knows I may even buy more...because my experience with employees in other departments at these locations has been very positive in the past. It was just a shame that they thought nothing of me or my time. Maybe this store can afford to pick and choose their paying customers. I guess my appearence wasn't good enough for them to sit up to notice that I was there to spend spend spend and to think I drove 45 minutes to get there...oh well, I will be on a plane for hours to where I will make make bra purchases and from there it will be funfufnfun for me.

I am a pretty well endowed woman. I heard about this store from a friend at work who swore they would be able to fit me, so I went, not expecting much. Let me just say, was I surprised at how nice everybody was and they made me feel so comfortable! I had a fitting with Krista, who is an angel! I was wearing a bra that was TWO cup sizes too small, and the band was too big. I found two bras I loved!!! I have been wearing them for a week and called today to order another. Yes, they cost more than Kohls, but I have never had such a pretty bra that felt so good!!! It was worth every penny!!! Thank you allure!!!!!!

Took my Mother (81 yrs old on a fixed income) to the store in Brookfield, she thought she'd get a great fit and they might have something to stop her straps from falling off her shoulders. People were nice and helpful. Bought one bra and some gel type pads to stop the straps from sliding off her shoulders. They only had one bra in stock so they said they'd order a second one. We paid for both bra's. My Mom wore the new bra and found it wasn't any better than the ones she bought at Kohl's for a third of the price. The shoulder stays didn't work. We called the store and tried to cancel the second bra. It was too late, already ordered. The store refused to give us our money back and were rather sarcastic over the phone. I still have the credit slip for $63.00, Mom doesn't have any interest in paying the inflated price for this merchandise. I think the sales person should have told us that if they ordered merchandise we would not be able to get our money back only an in-store credit. I think it was very under handed to do this. With the money they're making with over inflated prices, they don't need the $63.00 as much as my mother does.

You have to check out Allure! Their lingerie selection is great and they can fit...hard to fit women. Allure has awesome sleep and yoga wear too!!!

This store is wonderful! The sales ladies were discreet, helpful with tips and ideas, very pleasant. They treated me as though I was a "queen". I thought that I would never find a store that sells large cup size bras! However, Allure Initmate Apparel sells not only the large size bras but also has a nice assortment from the ordinary to the extrordinary! They also carry matching undergarments and more. It was a delightful experience!
