York's Barber Shop

Yorks was recommend to me . I'm new to the area and was surprised to find this place. If your looking for a great old fashion haircut shave this is the place to go. Brought back times when I was younger with my grandfather at the barber shop. Clean and very laid back . No complaints.

Trimmed, Spiffied-up, Groomed - Perfect! this busy shop gives great cuts! there are several barbers, so after a short wait, my turn was with the barber in the 2nd chair in from door. he was real friendly and listened carefully to how i wanted it cut, and then did a PERFECT job. my hair was a little long and messy, he wet it down with water spray, then cut and trimmed for a while, and spent some time blow-drying and combing it up really neat looking, and got a real decent part. he polished it up with some guy's hairspray to keep it in place, and did some more combing. he then used warm shaving cream on the back neck, and shaved it up blockstyle with a razor that gave it that sharp neat look. he then even took several minutes to groom me up - with a little more trimming, trimmed eyebrowls and stray facial/ear/nose hairs. i looked absolutely sharp and spiffy in the barberchair when he was finished - a real haircut! it stayed in place really well and was soft and manageable afterwards, and even 2 weeks out falls right into place when i comb it. this is one of the best haircuts i've had in several years! - and the price was only 10 bucks. my girlfriend really liked the haircut also. i will definitely be going back to yorks for my haircuts, and i can highly recommend this barbershop to you - they do you up right at a great price.
